“It was my experience at tahini . I ate fallafal bowl which is good option in vegetarian.Their customer service is good as well. The two guys named Umar and Dhruv are very sweet and provide good customer services. Recommend to everyone to visit this place and try veg and non wraps and bowls

“Big fat indulgent gourmet cookies! Before buying, I was a bit concerned about the sweetness level because there were some previous comments about the cookies being too sweet or not sweet enough. I'm happy to say that it was perfect for me. It's less sweet that the typical cookies from a supermarket. But it's not so low in sugars that it's diabetic friendly.“

“A very nice and cozy place. It had a huge menu of coffees. Just about anything you could think of, both hot and iced. Lots of sandwiches and sweets as well. I got an iced caramel macchiato for about $7. Decently big cup and excellent flavor. The place is very small but completely empty at 5pm on a Friday. There are a couple tables, comfy chairs, and some older tasteful music playing, as well as fast free wifi. It's connected to the other shops in the building, and they'll bring you your drink wherever you go. I only had to wait a minute or two for my drink. The staff was very polite and the place had an overall safe and welcoming environment. Would recommend to anyone looking for a pricey drink and a moment alone.“

“Wonderful, inclusive folks! Very nice staff, who were very helpful. This may seem like an odd thing to say, but it was really great that they made sure they rented an accessible portable washroom for their large market event. As I was sporting crutches (I recently broke my ankle), it was a total life saver that I didn’t need to take the stairs! Not sure if the port-a-potty is an “always” thing, but just the fact that they had it for their street market when so many folks wouldn’t even think of it made me grateful. Thank you for being the loveliest hosts! I’m not a coffee or tea drinker, but I’ll certainly tell all my friends about how kind the staff were!“

“I was so excited about this restaurant coming to my neighborhood as we'd often go to their Somerset location. The vibes and service there were awesome. I come to the Westboro location often living close by and they have 3 veggie options, all of which are delicious.

The atmosphere needs improvement. The seating isn't very comfortable. Not sure if adding cushions would help, but I'd start there. And none of the tables seem even. I think this place has a lot of potential but needs a little TLC.“

Not as impressed with the tiramisu, which was an odd kind of foamy/gelatiny something. And they really need to get a handle on the amount of plastic waste - even the plastic forks were wrapped in plastic; each cake slice wrapped in plastic; plastic plastic plastic. At least find something biodegradable, there's things on the market now! I would definitely go again but I'd bring my own mug and fork.“

The inside is usually pretty full when I've been and it's a bit dark inside but has a unique atmosphere since it's in an old industrial kind of building. They also have a few outdoor tables which is nice. I've always walked or biked here but there is street parking and a small parking lot too.“

“As a student at the University of Ottawa I would visit the pub often because not only it's the most convenient but, professors also find it the best place to have the informal gatherings after hardcore academic sessions.I hosted a techno night called Make Me Bad Mondays here for about one academic year. It was no success, I must say because people are not really into techno in Ottawa. But anyways I had my practice and here and there there would be really great moments when people appreciated the music.I was also part of the Ontario People's Interest Research Group where we organized Alt 101 week, International Worker's Day and a few other programs mainly focusing on introducing new local artists and bringing community together to chat about activism and so on.The setting is really accommodating for student events. I never got to turn it into a club for my weekly, which was a pity.But anyways, good ol Nostalgica.“

It turned out to be a rainy day and they opened for the students so that the students wouldn’t be disappointed. They were friendly, kind and helpful to the students and we appreciated the fantastic service. This is the second time we have taken our students here and would highly recommend the Beach Shack.“

“This cafe is a hidden gem in Ottawa! The smash burger was delicious and juicy plus they had a great selection of beverages and snacks. Great place to grab & go or to sit down for a while and do some work. I would recommend as a great place for working + to grab a bite to eat ! “Hey there! We ordered for the first time last nite and everything was great! We both got the Club wrap which was very fresh and tasty:). We also ordered a small roasted potatoes with garlic sauce...so yummy!“

“I would normally give this Bridgehead 5 stars - BUT....The "but" is that they used to close at 7 PM (which I always thought was a little early - but could live with it). Last time I was there, they announced they were closing at 6 PM as "Winter Hours."Now, I could see them closing early to save some money if the place was a dead zone - but it is not. A lot of people go there. Lots of people stay and sit inside, and a lot of people do "to go." When my friends and I are there, it has never been empty. Never! Now, we will have to find another coffee place to meet at - because closing for the day at 6 PM is just too early for us. We will miss it, sadly.(Avoid the burrito - as it is a tasteless letdown, apparently. )

Dietary restrictions: They make a good vanilla bean latté with oat milk (not quite as good as the Starbucks version - but okay).“
