Recently, Sula asked that I try a slightly new version of the dish (apparently less fishy). Sula asked that I let her know if I liked it or not. While I thought the taste was a little different (maybe not as spicy or “fishy”), I still loved it and will be ordering it again.“

“Loved this place, came with my family and the service was amazing . The food was to die for. And they honestly were really amazing with my kids. I know it’s hard to take your family out sometimes and sometimes you share what you all have. But how they treated us so amazing with sharing the meal with my family of 4, and we only ordered 2 meals. And the waitress was so amazing because my kids really wanted tot try the ice cream but it wasn’t in the budget… but she saw how bad they wanted it and gave it to them on the house. They do have a few drink options such as coffee, hot, chocolate, etc. But they really focus on the gelato, which is great. “These amazing ladies make it so easy and enjoyable to eat vegan. I'm obsessed with all of the sweets, especially the Cinnamon roll with that frosting!!! The homemade seitan "pulled phork" sandwich is to die for. Love the mozza sandwich! The almond and chocolate croissants are out of this world. The Nanaimo bars are a real sweet treat, hard to pace myself lol. The smores brownie is my daughter's fave. I get to visit them every day before work and it's got me feeling so blessed🥰. “We went tonight for our friend’s birthday. Food was amazing, drinks were good, service was excellent. 10/10 recommend. Note it is small inside, very quaint. As a person with a young baby, I won’t be bringing her (my daughter) there; we’ll keep it for a date night 😅“

“I love Paradise Poke and am a pretty regular customer but : the girl who prepared my meal today, which included handling my food directly with her gloved hands, turned around and punched in my order on the screen and then turned over the screen to me for me to complete my purchase so I also touched the screen. That made be uncomfortable. Touching my food and the screen that all of the customers also touch… what’s the point of wearing gloves? The person preparing food should not also be doing the cash.“

“This restaurant is absolutely phenomenal.

I was blown away by every single thing me and my husband ate.. all of their ingredients are locally sourced and Canadian!

Also it’s insane how attentive and caring the servers are, my server was awesome, he explained every dish in detail and came and checked on us at the right time every time!
He made us feel like V.I.P even tho we were just regular diners.
I forget his name but he was a French blonde gentlemen.
We will be back again forsure!

This may seem like an odd thing to say, but it was really great that they made sure they rented an accessible portable washroom for their large market event. As I was sporting crutches (I recently broke my ankle), it was a total life saver that I didn’t need to take the stairs! Not sure if the port-a-potty is an “always” thing, but just the fact that they had it for their street market when so many folks wouldn’t even think of it made me grateful. Our server Myles was hilarious, would always crack good jokes and create a good atmosphere when serving us! If you're covering another person's tab he'll always recommend the streak lol. I usually choose the mix and match option, which allows you to buy 2 meals for the price of 1. I tend to order the rice with the spinach tofu curry, chickpea tofu curry, and plain tandoori naan. The tandoori naan is huge! The curries aren't super flavourful, but it hits the spot when I am craving Indian food that is delivered to me quickly.“
