Most recently we attended the French-themed dinner in May and, as always, we were not disappointed. The co-owners Kerry and James as well as April and Alida always make us feel like we have just come home. Marvellous.”

“Bistro 54 for years has been one of our favourite restaurants for a special dining event. Most recently on a very warm evening at the end of May we sat on the patio between the stone walls of The Bistro and the building next door. Really gives a feeling of a place in France or Italy. Owners Dave and his wife Nicky are always fun to chat with. Servers Stacey and Marcella are always attentive and on top of things.”

“We went for a birthday, birthday girl had a broken knee and they provided an extra chair to make her feel comfortable. Drinks were amazing, food was delicious. Honestly the best part was the atmosphere. So relaxed, so welcoming, we were talking to the other tables about their food and what they were thinking. We will be going back for sure!”

“If I could give 10 stars for Jordan and her team at Picnic I would. We had a last minute catering order for my grandfather’s funeral and they took our order on without blinking a eye. The food they prepared was outstanding and very well appreciated by all the guests. Thank you Jordan for making our day that much easier by preparing an outstanding spread.”

“My niece was recently married in Perth and the wedding dinner was held at Maximilian Restaurant. I have always been impressed by the quality of the food and the wonderful service but Joan and her staff truly outdid themselves on this special occasion. They had closed the dining room to the public as we were a large group. From the moment we entered we were made to feel welcome. We were greeted by friendly staff and a beautifully decorated venue. The appetizers were unique, beautifully presented and mouthwatering. We had been offered options for the main course and everyone enjoyed their delicious meal. ( many of us had to take home what we could not eat - the portions are very generous) Dessert did not disappoint either. The staff were very busy ensuring that no one was kept waiting and they were able to deliver meals quickly, efficiently - and always with a smile. The bartenders were kept busy as well and the drinks were great. Joan circulated around the room several times to speak with guests and ensure that everyone was happy with their meal choice, the drinks and the service - and we were ! Thanks very much Joan and all staff - servers, chefs, kitchen staff and bartenders - as well all the people behind the scenes who helped make this occasion even more memorable for this very special couple. Everything was wonderful!”

“What a Gem in my backyard. My daughter and I attended the Perth Night Market on May 28. We stopped in at the end of the night for something to take home. I purchased Lemon Tarts and Coconut Cream tarts. They were amazing. The right amount of pastry and the perfect amount of filling. They have a fan for life”

“If you find yourself near Perth, Ontario as Mark Brunet and I did last Saturday, do yourself a favour and stop at Hourglass. A fabulous restaurant with delicious fresh food and coffee and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The owner David and his wife Hayley are wonderful, this was the highlight of our drive home! And the surprise carrot cake to go was over the top!! Thank you David & Hayley, you made our day 🙂”

“Went to Dairy Queen on Simcoe Street in Oshawa purchase to peanut buster parfait no it's been a while it looks like different owners different people I'm not too sure but when the guy finished with it it looked like a regular Sunday you guys have gotten pathetic and what you charge I can easily go to an ice cream store and receive twice the value of a type of ice cream than what you are charging compare these pictures to the ones that you advertise tell me I didn't get ripped off no more purchasing from you guys”

“We stopped here for the first time. Realistically its a take out restaurant, if you want to dine in you just take the take out dishes they use with a plastic fork and sit at one of their tables. The food was ok but very expensive, each dish is around $20…that means if you wanted fried rice, a meat dish and some chowmein you are looking at nearly $80”

“Me and my Fiancé were out and about having a small date night and stopped in and ordered a pizza and the service was amazing! We even got a free slice of pizza each. Bonus!! The food is amazing and they are very kind and friendly. Keep up the amazing work:)”

“In town for a hockey tournament and while on the road I always get pizza at local pizzerias. This one did not disappoint!!. I order a large and a small combination. Crust was very crisp , cheese was overflowing and there were toppings galore!! The best part though was meeting the owner and hearing his storey as to how he got into the business . He spoke about a Greek gentleman that taught him how to make pizzas and his late grandmother’s dough recipe and how every time he makes a pizza he thinks of her. Just an amazing storey ! He’s been at it for over 50 years and in his current location for 30 years! And he still loves his “job”. But I had a sense it’s his passion! So if you are looking for an exceptional local pizzeria, as that guy says on that television show “You Gotta Eat Here!” Will definitely eat here when I’m back in town. Well done sir and thank you for telling your story.”

“First time in Perth, a local recommended this restaurant. It did not disappoint! From the well spiced super cheesy nachos to the enchiladas, fajita and churros, everything tasted amazing! The chicken in the fajitas and enchiladas was the best I've ever had! The employees were warm and welcoming and service was fast and attentive. Next time we're in the area we will definitely come here!”

“We love this place. Best kept secret in Perth. Food is fresh & flavorful. The egg foo young and almond guy ding are excellent and we include them in every order. Gluten sensitivities limit our options but staff are always helpful. Thank you Sky Dragon! Didn't rate atmosphere because it's takeout only.”
