“AMAZING CHINESE FOOD. AMAZING OWNER.Owner was so friendly & cool. The best English I've seen from a Chinese Restaurant Owner. The owner attended Fleming College & has AMAZING English. Very friendly. Also, the Dai Dop Wuey was PERFECT. So flavourful, so healthy, such a great mix, wonderful food.“

“ooohhhh boy. Good ol’ China Chef. What a gem. They whip up your order as fast as they can, they always put in 100% effort back there, poor guys. They have a great lunch special which is not only cheap but tons of food, no matter which one you get. On top of that, if you pay with cash, you get a discount. Obviously don’t expect your order to be 100% correct every single time because of language barriers etc… they’ll just say “YES YES” and make whatever they think you ordered, but it tastes good so who cares. China Chef is number 1 in my books! Great waiting chair in the restaurant as well!“

“We had a great experience at this restaurant! We ordered the chicken fried rice, fried chicken wings, and beef with broccoli. Serving sizes are large; plenty of food and all delicious. The wings were perfectly crunchy, the vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the beef was nice and tender. They were open during the Victoria Day long weekend, which was a big plus. The owners are wonderful and the customer service was excellent. Highly recommend.“

“Our place to go for excellent food. Becky is great. We used to go to the Golden Wheel where Becky was before opening up the Happy Palace. You won't find any better. I have always maintained you can tell a great Chinese restaurant by the amount of chicken in their chicken balls. Becky's are chicken in batter not batter with a taste of chicken.“
