“Great place for a quick lunch or even just a beer. They have a wide variety of beer on tap to meet your needs, I definitely recommend some of local brews if you're looking to try something new. Great bar food that doesn't disappoint, wouldn't say its a high end spot, but even just to catch a sports game this would definitely be a great spot!“

“Good pub food. I had the burger and salad and my wife had the chicken fingers. Good portion sizes and reasonable prices. Excellent service despite there being two large groups there. My only complaint is I wish they had a wider variety of beer on tap, instead of the standard Budweiser, Canadian, Coors types of beer. However, that's probably their market target so you go with the flow.“

“The best food I’ve tasted in a while. I was passing by with my friends to Ottawa and we saw Peterborough on the map. Just thought why not visit. First we were looking for a good place to eat and we sure did find one. Awesome tasting foods. I ordered half rack with wings and fries(10/10), Sam ordered Mac and cheese, which he said that he haven’t had one like this in forever(9.5/10)“

“We stopped by this amazing hidden “gem” on route to a friends cottage.
I’m from England and my husband Ireland and this pub is truly a “local” like you experience in the UK.
Michelle was our server and was fabulous! Right amount of attention with a good dose of sense of humour. The other patrons were all locals and you can tell this is the place to be!
So if you want to experience a pub (not a sports bar”, with a great menu of food and beverages served by amazing staff. This is the place for you.
(Oh and to the reviewer who said food service was slow- timing of food is in pace with the size of the restaurant and volume of people enjoying themselves there so just take a breath and enjoy the ambiance! )
Great spot and will be our go too when on route to the cottage!
