“Great little bar in Oshawa. Very inconspicuous. Tons of regulars. Friday is a band and Saturday is karaoke. But the karaoke is fun and always a good time.
Food is fantastic too. Great portions and always tasty. Service is over the top. Jane is a saint!! The new girl Kay is nice as well.
Don't actually want to leave a 5 star as this place is a best kept secret. Though fully deserving of all 5.“

“We are in town for a robotic competition which ended pretty late on a Saturday, so there are not many dining options left, luckily we found the Rumour Mill from Google map which opens late.
Live music is on Fri & Sat after 9 and the vibe is great. Lots of locals seem to know the spot and come here for the show.
Food is as you would expect from a pub, portions are huge and we have half a sandwich left for lunch the next day!“

“We had dinner on Sunday, April 19th before going to the Regent and we couldn't have had a better time! Our waitress, Jane, was amazing! She was probably one of the best server's we have ever had the pleasure of meeting as she was friendly, so accommodating and speedy with our order, a very upbeat and genuine person and never intrusive in any way. We saw her run down the street when we were leaving because someone forgot their glasses and it was cold out! The food was great and if we needed anything, Jane was there. She is an absolute asset to your restaurant! We will be back!“

“5 of us went today for lunch and each ordered something different, plus a few appetizers. Everything was well prepared, nicely presented and absolutely delicious!!! Very large portions as well. I will defenitely return.“

“This place is great. Lucky enough to have been invited there for New Year’s Eve. It’s a very welcoming atmosphere with a family feel to it. The service is great and the prices are more than fair. I think I’ve a new spot to hand out with good genuine people.“

“The absolute worst customer service I have EVER experienced. Inadequately trained servers, the "manager" definitely could use some serious customer service training AND training with the payment system as he struggled with processing our bill. The food was served cold. We order a Chicken BLT wrap just before our meal ended To-Go and after waiting over 50 minutes for our takeout, we were told the takeout was busy with takeout orders for customers?? excuse me?? what are we?? We had just ordered 2 bar drinks, an appetizer and 2 main entres, so I guess we are not a customer. Unbelievable!! And then the manager proceeded to be combative with us when we began to rightfully complain. No apologies, no discount, nada! No surprise this place has a low rating...THEY'VE EARNED IT! 👎“

“Michelle's is a great place to bring your friends, play some pool and have some great food. Food is available for takeout for anyone interested in picking up. It is always filled with patrons of all ages. Even has a semi-separate party room to host small events. Totally worth checking out!!“

“While I've only been here a few times I can honestly tell you it is a great establishment. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly, and the food has always been top-notch. It has a convenient location with lots of parking. Tons of seating in an outdoor patio which I look forward to making use of this summer. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite to eat whether alone or with friends. Highly recommended.“

“Was in this evening with my wife trying to enjoy a date night. It would have been a lovely evening except for the unruly, screaming, annoying children at a booth on their own while all the parents sat at another table ignoring them. The manager did nothing to address this behaviour and actually seemed to just ignore it. Our wait staff was also annoyed by the children’s behaviour. No one wants to be in a pub listening to annoying children when the manager and parents choose to just ignore it. Do not bother attending here if you don’t want a chuck e cheese atmosphere.“

“Ive always enjoyed my visits to the Dog, great atmosphere / banter with the regulars. Excellent staff, especially Brandy, Candice (Candy) and Abby. They are the reason the pub enjoys the visits of the regulars...we come back for a reason. Cheers.“
