“Absolutely love this place! Compared to the other bars in the vicinity it’s comparatively cheaper. The drinks are basic and the menu is simple, they don’t have a printed menu but it’s written and hung on the walls. Very cosy and the owners/staff are friendly and nice. “2 aussies travelling canada. Wife and I had decided to have dinner here as it was just down the road from the hotel we were staying at. There was 1 other couple having dinner and some locals at the bar having drinks. We ordered the wings special ($10) and being a Monday I got tallboys (cans) for $5.50, the wings are amazing, so tasty, hot and the sauce I selected (honey garlic) is the best.Served by the lovely young lady l, her attitude, Service with a smile and so happy. “After reading the great reviews for this place, I decided to visit, It was a good decision, food is good service is great especially from Chetna, Ambiance and vibe is good. You know its a popular place when there a number of regulars always there. So good I have been back 5 times over the last couple of months. Good portions, good prices with daily specials, plus a large patio. Lots of T.V.s for sports watching.“

“The chicken curry with rice is to die for!! It really tastes homemade, I'm going crazy over it. Love it!!! Also props to the chef for still making a pretty plating of it even though they were putting it into a takeout container. It looked and smelled gorgeous opening it up!PS: also want to mention that a few months ago I stepped in for a beer after a terrible doctor's appointment. The bartender was suuuuuch a sweetheart, and I still remember how much better she made me feel! I'm a big fan of the branding redesign, but I'm also so glad to see that the hospitality has not changed and is still just as strong as ever!! Definitely an unassuming-yet-high-quality family-friendly place to be! (well at least during the day LOL:))“
“Small restaurant but for us definitely a diamond in the rough! We're not from Oshawa just happened to come across the Crooked Uncle on Google...but when I phoned to ask about food allergies I was greeted by the most lovely welcoming employee! She was able to answer our questions on the phone and we LOVED having Kelly as our waitress! It was a bit early on Saturday for us to be able to have the Prime Rib dinner but all 4 of us LOVED our food! No pics be ause we were hungry but the table was quiet, no complaints!
