“Parsons Farm Brewery offers a unique and refreshing experience for those looking to enjoy a cozy atmosphere away from the typical sports bar scene. While it may lack TVs for hockey viewing, the presence of an ice rink provides an exciting alternative – allowing patrons to actively engage in the sport with friends. The brewery's commitment to fostering social interaction and outdoor enjoyment makes it a standout destination for both beer enthusiasts and sports lovers alike.“
“Was sheer luck that we stumbled upon this restaurant while walking through town on eclipse day. My partner started to get hungry right around the time we reached it after a stroll down Picton's main street. Seems the stars were aligned for us. I was informed they had just gotten a cancellation for a party of 2 and right up behind the front cash was a poster of Prince - one of my partner's favourite musicians (next to one of Madonna). The playlist and menu totally sold us.Food was solid. My partner had the Vic Burger with fries. A little heavy on the onions but delicious (I had a bite), and included a very crunchy and delicious deep fried pickle. I had a house salad with balsamic - which was a very nice big portioned fresh salad. Server was friendly and food came pretty promptly. Very good local option with stellar 80s and 90s playlist.Vegetarian options: Salads and a veggie burger were available.“
“We recently had the pleasure of dining at Sand and Pearl, a cozy restaurant, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm and inviting ambiance. To start the meal, we were treated to freshly served oysters, a true testament to the restaurant's commitment to providing high-quality seafood. These oysters were a burst of oceanic freshness and set the tone for what was to come. One of the most unexpected yet surprisingly delicious dishes was the Scallop Ceviche mixed in with actual Sweet Chili Heat Doritos. It was a fusion of flavors and textures that worked surprisingly well together. The Doritos added a delightful crunch and a hint of spice to the otherwise refreshing ceviche.Moving on to the main courses, the Lobster and Lamb Chops were the stars of the show. The lobster was succulent and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The lamb chops were equally outstanding, tender and seasoned to perfection, leaving a lasting impression. To complement the meal, the drinks were excellent. The restaurant clearly takes pride in its beverage selection, and it showed in the quality and presentation of the cocktails. In conclusion, my dining experience at this restaurant was a memorable one. The combination of fresh oysters, unexpected flavor pairings like the Scallop Ceviche with Doritos, and the outstanding Lobster and Lamb Chops made for a truly enjoyable meal. If you're looking for a unique and delicious culinary adventure, this restaurant is worth a visit.“
“Great spot - especially in summer with their incredible outdoor space. But the drive up is magical on their winding driveway and then you can over look the county - fab view. The barn right in front also has goats in the summer. Great spot to catch a sunset.“
