“I went to Swiss Chalet on Highland for dinner with a friend and had a great experience. We were served by an amazing waitress named Jeneyah, and she truly made our visit special. She was very pleasant, gave us plenty of menu options, and was attentive throughout our meal. Our food was taken and delivered in a timely manner—hot, fresh, and delicious. The restaurant environment was clean and welcoming, and overall the service was excellent. I’d rate this visit a 9.5/10 and would definitely return!”

Food was amazing and our waitress was on top of things, looked after us all night, polite, friendly and accommodating. Best service at a restaurant and it was our son's 18th birthday celebration. “Stopped by Scan & Dram in New Hamburg and had the fish & chips with French fries — absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly cooked: crispy on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside. The batter wasn’t greasy at all, just light and full of flavour. The French fries were golden, fresh, and seasoned just right — the perfect side to the fish. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and well made. Great food, great spot, and definitely somewhere I’d go back to when I’m craving classic fish & chips done right. The owners are independent, kind, giving to the community, selfless, generous, and they have good hearts. I recommend anyone, student or career person, to visit this restaurant. “Very typical and comfortable diner atmosphere. Older crowd when I was there at lunch. Service was excellent and friendly. My food was very good quality. I had the chicken tender platter. Fries and coleslaw. Amazing. Dipping sauces, amazing. The tenders are home made from real breast meat. The coating on the tenders was more of a batter than a breading. The texture was light and airy like a cheesy or corn puff. It was interesting. But not to my preference. Portion was HUGE.”
