Went to H-Mart, the food court one. A bit disappointed with the bone in fried chicken special. Lots of batter, saucy, pieces was crispy. Chicken cut was heavily fragmented, some had decent meat, while others had nearly nothing. Quite pricey for mediocre quality. Staff wasn't friendly, no thank you or a smile. Maybe others might have a different experience.
I bought chicken from here many times before, but recently ordered takeout for the first time. I made the order by phone for pickup, and when I arrived at the pickup time, the staff was quite busy.The 1 star for service is due to the fact that none of the staff members even acknowledged my presence at the counter. Secret sauce boneless chicken tastes great and includes a side of pickled radishes. The portion is definitely not 1.2lbs though. The price is quite expensive ($26) for a food court spot. Also because all the meat is chicken thighs.This is comparable to the bbq chicken in Downtown Markham without the eat-in service.
