“We had such a great experience at this izakaya. The food was absolutely delicious everything felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The beef tartare was especially memorable: light, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The karaage was another standout—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned just right.

Service struck that perfect balance—not overbearing, but still attentive and timely, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.

The only small downside was that it was a bit on the darker side, making it a little hard to see at times.

“Great ambience, friendly staff and tasty food. Really love the beef tataki , beef tartare and salmon tartare. Ingredients are very fresh. Love the mentaiko Caesar salad; tasty and fresh. Will definitely try other selections on the menu next time.“

“Nome at Shops is our go-to spot every Friday. We always come through with our boys just to hang out, and this place never misses. Jessie always makes sure we’re set up with our usual seats at the bar, which we really appreciate. Michelle behind the bar is a whole vibe — she honestly takes the experience to another level every time. Amanda, the manager, is also amazing and super welcoming, always making sure we’re taken care of and happy. Loving the new happy hour menu too. Such a great team all around. If you’re looking for a spot with good vibes and solid people, this is definitely it.“

“The vibe is wonderful. Hundred percent fit for friends group chilling. The combo, including alcohol n snacks is great, reasonable pricing. And the food is actually not bad. Beer u can kinda taste it might mix with water cuz pretty light. The whiskey is good. I prefer the whiskey ice tea over beer a lot. The staff is nice just not the front desk girl. When we walk in, she said they are full booking. We completely understand, even a bit disappointed, we r gonna search up another bar nearby. And then the next second she said she forgot they have second level which is empty😂 I was like what, how can you forget that. At the end, when we leave, we still don see they are full, lmao“

“Hands down one of my favorite Japanese spots! I’ve been coming here for almost 5 years now, and the quality has honestly stayed amazing every single time.
My absolute favorites are the Salmon Donburi Bowl, the oysters, the short rib. everything is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
And a special shoutout to Lin for always being so sweet, welcoming, and attentive. She’s honestly one of the reasons I finally decided to leave a review! She always makes the whole experience feel warm and comfortable.
