“The food is really good! I would 100% go there again. The reason it's 4 stars, however, is because the wait time is too long and the servings are a bit small. I ordered abula, and it was finger licking good, but I waited for a whole hour. The staff are really nice as well!“

“I picked up a large variety of items from Zain’s Bakery on Kennedy Rd, and the experience was great from start to finish. Aruna helped me with everything—she was polite, genuinely cheerful, and packed all the food carefully so nothing leaked. She even offered methi roti and a samosa to sample, which really helped me decide what to buy. That kind of service matters.

The chicken and veg samosas were excellent—very flavorful, generously sized, and made with thin pastry, the kind East African Indians truly appreciate. We also tried the mandazi, bharazi saag, badam pak, and naan khatai, and all of them were really good.

The chicken pilau and beef mogo came in big portions. While both could have used more meat, the pilau was tasty and satisfying overall.

My family really enjoyed the food—the taste, portions, and pricing were all on point. And honestly, Aruna’s warm service with a smile made the whole experience even better. Definitely worth a visit.“

“Mom and Pop operated gem for East African style Indian take-out food. Excellent quality! Friendly helpful service from this older couple. Beef ribs, mishkaki (marinated beef chunks), tandoori offerings, mogo (cassava), etc., located on Warden Ave, just north of the 401. I will drive there from the west side of Toronto for their food and will pick up a variety of authentic dishes, very reasonably priced to keep my fridge stocked for a few days. Wish they were closer but just so glad they are still around. No tables, parking available in a strip mall.“
