50 Best Burger Restaurants in Scarborough

“Ordered the liberator. Delicious! Hard to grab the big burguer but it was 100% worth it. Just dont feel like making a combo for 5.49 was worth the price. Better off just buying the burguer and a drink. My wife had the chicken and it was also delicious!“

“We came to take advantage of the National Cheeseburger Day promotion only to be told that it wasn’t being offered at this location. Thankfully one of the staff was able to offer it to us using another promo in the system. Thankfully you for that. We waited patiently for our burgers, but it was Friday and the grill was slammed with Door Dash and Skip the Dishes orders. YES, the burgers were worth the wait. Thank you again for figuring out how to honour the promotion for us.“

“The steaks were amazing.! Great service from Chanel“

“I had the Signature burger with fresh cut fries tonight. It was THE BEST! Mama herself brought the food out to us while we ate outside at the picnic tables. She was the sweetest! Great customer service! Can’t wait to come back again!“

“This is the best Swiss Chalet in the GTA! The food is always well prepared, the restaurant is clean and pleasant, and most importantly, the service is outstanding! So welcoming and friendly! Even the owner often walks around and says Hello. Everybody there is so personal. It feels like a family.

Special mention goes out to Trish. She is absolutely wonderful!! She will make your day!

Michelle is pretty stellar, too!

I make it a point to visit this location, regularly. It's that good!“

“Looking to bring back childhood memories. Nostalgia in burger places in the East end would be Johnny's, West it would be Apache Burger, theres also Square Boy on the Danforth. No frills, frozen patties, fries with gravy. Steak on a bun, onion rings. Fast service, decent portions, served hot and fresh. Food never disappoints, bringing back memories of growing up which is priceless.“

“Great friendly staff right from when you walk in. The food is delicious and they definitely are consistent!! And very, very clean. Thank you for your good size portions and great prices.😋“

“I bought 22 double smash burgers loaded and 30 tenders for my crew. Food was amazing! Staff is even better! They discounted 20% for such a big order as well as threw in some extra tenders and sauces for the guys. Thanks again; the boys enjoyed everything!“

“Amazing experience visiting this restro has got charming Vibe, did lunch today and had their appetizing Steak poutine which was too good and saucy served by lady server who was so welcoming and treated us in gentle and friendly way. Definitely will be visiting with friends again, ❤️“

“I had a great experience at Slider Station! The food was absolutely delicious and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The customer service was excellent, and all of the workers were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. They made sure everything was perfect and created a friendly atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Slider Station to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service!“

“I just recently found out about this GEM of a place. I don't normally like rice but, Lilis rice is fabulous as is all of the food here. Generous portions and excellent prices.“

“Glad to see the new location thriving and doing well. The food is still amazing and the staff are great as always. Very friendly atmosphere and the owner is great to deal with. Definitely recommend going by to anyone for a great meal at a great price!“

“This was my first time visiting The Burger Alley. The menu is Harry Potter inspired and all the names are so fun. We had the Sirius Black and the Dragons Kiss, a side of Alley fries and a deep fried Mozzarella piece. The owner's were so nice and welcoming. There is a huge window from where you can actually see into the kitchen and you will see how clean their kitchen and surroundings are. Will definitely go back and even suggest to my family and friends.“

“Great food. Fresh & healthy. Excellent service. 10/10 would recommend“

“Very good tacos and great price. Ordered the 1st 3 and decided I’d have 3 more.“

“Extremely high quality chicken and friendly staff.“

“We have been to this location a few times over the last year. We are seniors and have requested the full breakfast in the middle of the day. Other A. & W. Locations do not offer the full breakfast menu at all. Since our first visit to this location we have found all of the staff to be so accommodating, courteous kind and very helpful. Diane was our young lady on the order desk, she like the other staff are worth their weight in gold as they excel in all of the customer service area that are essential to complete customer satisfaction. Diane and all the staff at this location are # TEN.“

“Delicious food and great customer service! I especially love the spicy chicken burger and poutine 10/10 would recommend 👍 (its halal too)“

“absolutely amazing burgers! even the fries are top notch. highly recommend! great work! love the added touch of the branding on the bun aswell.“

“I went to Wing It after my sister introduced me to their hot honey wings and once again, I was not disappointed. First and foremost, Amal's customer service skills are top tier and the value for the price is great. I ordered the combo, which included the chilli onion fries, 1lb of wings and a soda and I think this will be my regular order from here on out. It's a small spot delivering big value and flavours! I highly recommend!“

“Best hot dog stand in Toronto and it’s halal! Been going here since college in the early 2000s and continue to do so!“

“The food is quite good and reasonably priced. The tonkatsu burger in particular remains juicy inside the cutlet, but is loaded with toppings and pairs well with their own house mayo blend.
Be aware that seating is bar style and limited - it is not the most comfortable place to sit.“

“Just went taste and observe their food & service after reading google reviews. Yes! It’s a kitchen per its Name, not a restaurant. Ordered Both Veg & Non- Veg items to span taste their servings. Presence of Kiosk is impressive, but the human welcoming , presence and thanking for customer’s business is missed! Couldn’t see Even a simple smile on the kitchen delivery desk agent, how hands over the orders. Wish they endure a bit a human touch at the end point of business.

Now coming to variety and taste of the food, as a person who had tasted different south Asian restaurants, for 3 decades, CK Taste is Excellent!

Giving 4 star, as I feel there is still space in improving the kitchen atmosphere, friendly & smiling/ more courteous agents at the delivery desk and having an open mind to receive negative reviews as well and finding ways to turn around the situation into positive outcome. I say this as I went through most of Reviews and how owner reacts( part of business acumen)
Wish them good luck and I Hope they work on negative reviews as well and improve their service, competitive pricing and hope they open more branches in greater Toronto area and elsewhere.

The Food is very tasty! No doubt!! Compared to other South Asian restaurants I have visited!
Will recommend this kitchen for a visit!“

“An all-around standout! Besides the amazing halal burgers and fair prices, their milkshakes are a hit. The ease of parking, friendly staff, clean facilities, and wheelchair accessibility truly make this place special. A top choice for delicious eats and a welcoming experience! They had a booster chair, the staff were super nice and helped me pick out some things from their big menu. I got the Nashville Chicken Burger, the Nashville Poutine and the Chocolate milkshake. The portions are super generous for the price! This is the perfect Friday night Saturday night treat or filling lunch during the week!“

“All the women walking in Wendy’s, they are lovely nice friendly. I enjoy picking up order from there whenever I see Wendy’s on that store. I love to go there to pick order because you know they are being honest they will tell you what time is gonna be ready you know even though it’s gonna be delayed I still love them because you know they always Joaquin looking so hard. I really appreciate them. I love them so much nice.“

“Such an incredible experience at Hunter’s Hut. The food is delicious and extremely reasonable. The service is excellent! Chloe represented your restaurant in an amazing way! We will definitely be back!“

“Food was extremely tasty, and the staff was very friendly. They definitely cared about the food they were presenting. My take my breath away was not initially what I wanted. He didn’t hesitate to make a second one and he came out 100%. Highly recommend.“

“I have always had a great experience at this Harvery's/ Swiss Chalet combo concept, food has never been a problem, hot, fresh and most importantly tasty! Harvey's lately is always trying new menu items, today I I saw some things that I will need to try. I spoke with Claudio the Franchise for Swiss Chalet and he was a pleasure to deal with the parent organization of these brands is massive and he was well informed of the operation. I will be back soon, thank you for making the experience so amazing.“

“I can’t say enough about how much I love Yummis’ hamburgers! They remind me so much of the Persian hamburgers back home, and every bite brings back those familiar flavors. The sauce, the meat, and all the ingredients taste incredibly fresh and delicious. Everything just comes together perfectly. Yummis has become our go-to comfort food whenever we’re craving something satisfying and nostalgic. Absolutely love it!“

“I had an amazing experience at this place! The shawarma was absolutely delicious — packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and super satisfying. What really stood out was the excellent customer service by Nisar. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend if you're looking for great food and top-notch service“

“Awesome food Good customer service“

“1st time being here and the food was great, the service was wonderful, the restaurant was clean and spacious. I would come back again. I recommend anyone who likes a bit of spice in there food to come enjoy one of the many dishes at Burger St“

“Good Resturant, good food everybody should come and try“

“Place needs a much needed facelift but I still love it.“

“The servers Komal and Drishti were very kind and their customer service was well done. The food was a little too spicy for my mother who wanted no spice and we asked for no spice. Im guessing that the crispy chicken sandwich had a little spicy patty. The atmosphere was classic and woodlike, which was pleasing to the eye. Overall, it was a good service, food was not too bad other than the spice level and the atmosphere was nice.“

“The young women that work here work fast! There was a line up but they moved through it so quickly. There is a lot of seating outside around the building, Perfect for enjoying your treats on a nice day. Also, I haven't treated myself to ice cream in a while and was surprised that the prices were actually decent 👍🏾👍🏾“

“Consistently impressive experience every time I swing by. Great value, generous portion sizes, and the food is always warm. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich was super crispy and hit the spot. It's rare to get this level of consistency in fast food.“

“Have had Shamrock's a few times since I live nearby and also went to UTSC.

Im giving it 4 stars however the menu can be hit or miss depending on what you get. Prices for a standard burger and fries combo are very solid.

The good:

The signature Rockstar burger is a must get and where this place shines. The flavour of the meat in this burger can be put up against other local favourites like McCoy's and Johnnny's and competes. Patty is very well seasoned and has a nice char/flamebroiled taste. Toppings are personal preference but have been fresh each time that i've ordered. 5/5

Im also a fan of their fries, which are hand cut in house and have a slight crisp but have a very potato forward taste/interior. 4/5

The shakes are also solid nothing too crazy but very good. 3.5/5

The bad:

Really did not like the spicy clucker which is their spicy chicken sandwich. The ingredients really do not work well together and it just wasn't good at all. The chicken patty is a grocery store emulsified meat fillet. The bun is a pretzel bun which doesnt work with the already really salty bacon. Honestly took 2 bites and threw out the rest. This sandwich is just doing too much. Honestly would probably just be a lot better if they used a normal bun with a white meat breaded breast/tender or even breaded thighs with a standard spicy mayo. 0/5“

“This location is consistently friendly, welcoming and has well-prepared fast food.“

“The staff were exceptional, asking me to enjoy my food, and even mentioning me and warning me about how spicy the ghost pepper sauce is. The food was great, especially the wraps, very well cooked and put together, especially how the sauces were put. Although some of the booths were dirty, and I had to wipe it myself, the overall experience was great.“

“Very accessible location at the corner of a busy intersection, but plenty of parking. The place echoes quite a bit and can get a bit understaffed but they manage everything very smoothly. The menu screens are mounted pretty high up and might be a bit hard to read, but the lighting is bright enough.“

“Great food. Lots of options“

“Thus location is the absolute best I have ever purchased my food from… the staff (MANPREET & HET) are amazing they have great positive attitudes here…I felt welcomed they made me smile multiple times just an all around a very positive experience…this is what customer service should be…the staff here really does their job to their very best ability…10/10 highly recommend this is the location you want to visit guys you will NOT be disappointed…keep up the great work it did not go unrecognized!!!!“

“I’ve ordered from this location more than 20 times, and Sachini has helped me every single time. She’s always friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful, making every visit a great experience. I highly recommend this location—it’s probably the best Harveys in Scarborough!“

“first time in this place and it did not disappoint me and wifey. crispy chic for her and juicey Lucy for me. plus the funnel strawberry cake. which is a big Wwwooowww“

“4.5 stars. Was pleasantly surprised when I ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Food was piping hot - so much so that my glasses fogged up!- and immediately full of flavour. Service was kind and fast. Bathroom was a little icky but most places are and I was just glad they had one.“

“I came to this location to try the new Whopper. This restaurant location is inside the mall. The new Whopper did not disappoint. I recently learned a secret when it comes to ordering at any Burger King. When ordering, mention that you want your burgers “off the broiler” and you’ll get a fresh hot burger. I also used my crowns from the app to redeem my Whopper sandwich for free. The app definitely has its perks, my Whopper was free. The service was great, the food was great, and the location was busy. 5 star experience. Thank you Burger King’s hard working team.“

“The bacon double cheeseburger with guacamole was great. The tater tots were good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.“

“Wow what a beautiful and extremely clean restaurant. I had a cold drink in a glass and it quenched my thirst, along with that drink I had a passion fruit milk shake and that was really good. Yummy 😋
Cleaning chairs, everything looks really new and clean. By the way the uncle burger and fries were cooked to perfection. I will be sitting inside again.“
