“Came here on a bachelorette wine tour and the service was great! Did a great job explaining the wines and our pairing with popcorn was awesome. Only downfall was that our guests who were gluten free struggled a bit with the food on the pairing, so if you are celiac be mindful of that! Overall, a good experience.”

“4 creamy sorbet flavours! Generous scoops and the cones (except the chocolate one) and wafers are vegan too. Two vegan sauce flavours - caramel and strawberry! Very friendly service and nice window seating! The mango sorbet was slightly bland - would have loved a sharper favour. The mixed berry and strawberry were very good though!”

The farm-to-table concept is taken to the next level here, as they source everything from their own farm, including fresh produce, house-made fruit preserves, and even their own honey, which you can purchase by the jar. The menu is creative and thoughtfully curated, offering dishes that are both unique and incredibly flavorful. The beef tenderloin was unbelievably tender and bursting with depth—easily one of the best I’ve had. The candied salmon appetizer was a perfect start—sweet, savory, and beautifully balanced. And don’t leave without trying the tiramisu gelato. It’s made in-house and is absolutely out of this world—creamy, rich, and a perfect finish to the meal. AG Inspired Cuisine truly lives up to its name. It’s clear that every dish is crafted with care and intention. I can’t wait to go back!”

“This was an incredible experience! When on vacation, I crave something beyond the usual drag restaurant. This place hit the spot! I’ve had Cuban food once before, so I was thrilled to explore another Cuban restaurant.

The food was absolutely delicious! Our party of four ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was a hit. I particularly enjoyed my fried plantains—they were simply divine!

The ambiance of the restaurant was also pleasant. While we were dining, a couple from the restaurant came out and danced, and they were incredibly talented. It was a fun and exciting sight to behold. Our service was equally impressive. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu with ease.

“What a fabulous pub, the food and drinks were great but the staff are outstanding. We went for dinner/drinks 2 nights in a row when we were in Niagara on the lake celebrating our anniversary. The second night” our 41st wedding anniversary at the end of our meal Kaitlin brought us a dessert and an anniversary card signed by all the staff that Mieriam our waitress the night before had left for us, it really ment the world to us. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you all the next time we are in Niagara on the Lake.”

“My husband and I visited Niagara on the Lake for the first time yesterday. We stopped into Fritters on the Lake and were absolutely so impressed. Not only was the lunch recommendation on point; the fritters were absolutely amazing. However, the best thing ever was the service! Zoran was the kindest person ever and when I spoke to my family by phone later in the day-he was the first one I told them about. I’m not sure when I’ll make it back but Fritters on the Lake will be my first stop and everyone that is headed that way will have my highest recommendation. “I rarely write reviews but this place deserves as many stars as I can give. Visited Niagara Falls with my girls yesterday and did a Reddit search for best poutine. A couple places popped up but I kept coming back to this one. We did some toursty things, worked up an appetite in the 90 degree and took a drive to Niko’s. Reading reviews, I knew they were cash only but only had USD. Took our chances knowing there was an ATM nearby but we were greeted positive with our first question and Niko kindly accepted our cash. The three of us ordered the family poutine (w/curds), chicken fingers/fries and after asking for a suggestion, went with the haddock/fries once he said he made his own batter. After a short wait (love that it’s made to order), we ate on the picnic benches outside and wow, the poutine was perfection. The fries were the best I’ve had since I was in Belgium years ago, and probably their equal. So crispy, even the ones with a metric ton of curds and gravy on the bottom. We devoured the poutine and had leftover frieds from the other 2 meals which air fried to a perfect crisp once we got home that evening. The fish was flaky and delicious , and the tenders were yummy too. As a bonus, they were such incredibly kind, friendly people, Niko talked to my daughter about running and baseball, and we just left with smiles on our faces. I know if we get back to NF in the future, we’re definitely coming back here.”

“My wife and I went on a bar crawl looking for the best cocktail lounge. local came out on top by a landslide. Blaire is master mixologist and treated us to an array of concoctions of his own creation.

He was the most gracious host. The drinks were top notch. If you're looking for a nice quiet spot to have an after work cocktail. local is where it's at.”
