“We had supper at this location last evening with my husband’s two daughters and one our granddaughters, her boyfriend and our son-in-law. Andrew was our excellent server who was pleasant and friendly despite having worked all day. He was very attentive and saw to all our requests in a timely manner. He organized individual bills accurately and everything came as ordered. He is an excellent member of your staff, and we hope to be served by him at our next visit!!“

“it was mine and my girlfriends first time at a moxies restaurant. We had delicious food, it was a great atmosphere and music, and also had a great server named Ryan. One thing that I noticed was that he came to check on us multiple times to make sure everything was ok with our food, in which is not done at many other places. It showed that he cared about our experience and made it very pleasurable. His customer service was number 1.“

“Definitely going back old school here. Felt a little like pulp fiction with Zedd as my server. Anyway, good food and priced ok would have expected it to be cheaper. Type of place and crowd who mind their own business and know one another. Not the cheapest place but I like my hot hamburger and the all day breakfast/lunch menus are a nice option“

“Lovely setting with tablecloths, fresh flowers & candles and ample spacing between tables allowing for private quiet conversation. The meals are always delicious (love the rack of lamb or venison when on the menu). Extensive and well curated wine list. Service staff are very attentive, yet discreet as appropriate. Fabulous dining experience.“

“Food was very subpar. the garlic loaf was cold, the soup luke warm, and the chicken fingers for $21 were coated in an oil based sauce that you could not see or taste. Asked for sauce to dip and it was mostly oil mixed with a hot sauce. Yellow Currie was ok but very bland in taste. stack quesadilla was luke warm did not come with sour crème or pico de gala. it had been a long time since we had been here and it looks like it will be even longer before we ever go back. I can say that the servers were pleasant and apologetic for what came out of the kitchen.“

“I rarely give 5 stars for anything, but the staff here knock it out of the park.

The food is cooked perfectly and served promptly, even if you ask for a small adjustment. (I asked for feta & olives to be added to my Southwestern Vegan Hash, transforming it into Greek Hash.)

The staff are attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The bottoms of our coffee cups were magically never seen. The bathrooms impeccably clean in spite of how busy it was at Sunday brunch-time.

And - the part that struck me most - the staff were all smiling, even when not interacting directly with customers. They seem genuinely happy and like they're enjoying their work.

The food and decor isn't posh, but if you want good diner fare and a pleasant environment to enjoy it in, this is a gem.

Tonight I ordered through uber eats and accidently canceled the order, UE. Charged a 95% cancelation fee to my CC without telling me.. when I noticed the charge on my card, I spoke to Uber eats who refused to refund the "cancelation fee", and would not place a reorder without me paying again (double charge) for the original order. I ended up driving to the restaurant and told them of the situation and they made sure I was taken care of. They fufulied my order without knowing if UE would give them the money they are owed. I absolutely recommend this place and have ordered from them many times, every single time the food is incredible. If you're looking for a nice night out, or take out food, you can't go wrong with August 8 Burlington!“
