“I have been to turtle jack water down before and that was one of the worst restaurant experience I had in my life. Hence to be very honest I really didn't have any expectations neither wanted to go into their Winona restaurant BUT guess what the pleasant and clean atmosphere gave me positive vibe as soon as I got in. “Service was great, very attentive. Food was delicious. The only thing I would hope they could do better is bring out hot eggs. We had a party of 7 and 4 of us ordered Eggs Benedict. The eggs were luke warm to cold. Very tasty but would have liked to have my eggs hot. The only reason we did not request a new dish is because we were on a time crunch and needed to eat and go.“

“We had supper at this location last evening with my husband’s two daughters and one our granddaughters, her boyfriend and our son-in-law. Andrew was our excellent server who was pleasant and friendly despite having worked all day. He was very attentive and saw to all our requests in a timely manner. He organized individual bills accurately and everything came as ordered. He is an excellent member of your staff, and we hope to be served by him at our next visit!!“

“it was mine and my girlfriends first time at a moxies restaurant. We had delicious food, it was a great atmosphere and music, and also had a great server named Ryan. One thing that I noticed was that he came to check on us multiple times to make sure everything was ok with our food, in which is not done at many other places. It showed that he cared about our experience and made it very pleasurable. His customer service was number 1.“

“Wow! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a Friday night dinner at the quaint Downtown Bistro & Grill, Burlington. Excellent, very personable service and fantastic food. I started with a Caesar Salad that was huge and garlickly delicious. My wife had baked brie which was also tasty. She also enjoyed her Beef Tenderloin but the show stopper was my main. A phenomenal, unctuous and exceptionally tender beer braised beef short rib with mashed and seasonal vegetables. Fantastic!!! Highly recommended!!!“

“We had a lovely date here. The food was excellent. I had a spicy chicken taco dish that was delicious, spicy, and just enough food. The front desk followed through on my seating request. The music was lively and an eclectic mix of songs I've never heard of before. The waitress was extremely attentive and pleasant. Good job, everybody.“

“Come here regularly and my favourite apps are the Sweet Chili Chicken Bites and Spinach & Artichoke dip. But I LOVE the California Spring salad, the candied pecans are amazing and all the flavours go so well together. Also tried the Crispy Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, it was crunchy and very saucy! The pickles and cabbage added a lot of flavour.“

“Food was very subpar. the garlic loaf was cold, the soup luke warm, and the chicken fingers for $21 were coated in an oil based sauce that you could not see or taste. Asked for sauce to dip and it was mostly oil mixed with a hot sauce. Yellow Currie was ok but very bland in taste. stack quesadilla was luke warm did not come with sour crème or pico de gala. it had been a long time since we had been here and it looks like it will be even longer before we ever go back. I can say that the servers were pleasant and apologetic for what came out of the kitchen.“

She gave us superb service and even brought a special dessert. The candle for my best friend's birthday. It was both of our first time there and we will continue to come back for more celebrations. “I rarely give 5 stars for anything, but the staff here knock it out of the park.

The food is cooked perfectly and served promptly, even if you ask for a small adjustment. (I asked for feta & olives to be added to my Southwestern Vegan Hash, transforming it into Greek Hash.)

The staff are attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The bottoms of our coffee cups were magically never seen. The bathrooms impeccably clean in spite of how busy it was at Sunday brunch-time.

And - the part that struck me most - the staff were all smiling, even when not interacting directly with customers. They seem genuinely happy and like they're enjoying their work.

The food and decor isn't posh, but if you want good diner fare and a pleasant environment to enjoy it in, this is a gem.

“Amazing food, exceptionally caring and attentive staff. The people here go out of there way to make sure customers are happy, comfortable and taken care of. Tonight I ordered through uber eats and accidently canceled the order, UE. Charged a 95% cancelation fee to my CC without telling me.. when I noticed the charge on my card, I spoke to Uber eats who refused to refund the "cancelation fee", and would not place a reorder without me paying again (double charge) for the original order. I ended up driving to the restaurant and told them of the situation and they made sure I was taken care of. They fufulied my order without knowing if UE would give them the money they are owed. I absolutely recommend this place and have ordered from them many times, every single time the food is incredible. If you're looking for a nice night out, or take out food, you can't go wrong with August 8 Burlington!“
