“Grabbed a table by the window at The Franklin House around golden hour a few days ago and the light coming in made it almost too easy to get good shots of the food before digging in. The braised short rib was rich without being heavy, and the plating had this nice rustic simplicity that photographed beautifully. Our server clearly noticed I was fussing over angles and offered to dim the overhead light near us a bit, which was a small thing but made a real difference. Parking behind the building was simple too, no circling the block like some spots nearby.”

“This was a birthday dinner for our granddaughter with our grandson (her cousin), Everything was exceptional with a very perky and competent server (wish I had gotten her name). Please pass on our compliments to her. We forgot about the birthday treat until we saw another table with it but it was a legitimate birthday (actual date was today). My wife and I particularly enjoyed the Sicilian menu as we toured Sicily in late May and were familiar with most of the dishes. Thankfully, a Sicilian speciality (horsemeat) was absent from the menu! We will be back after this memorable evening.”

We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday here, and the team went above and beyond to make it special with personalized live music and a cake. The food here is absolutely incredible—nothing less than what you’d get at the best places in New Delhi, India, in terms of taste and quality. Every dish was a delight and added to the wonderful experience. A special shoutout to our server, Meet—he’s an absolute rockstar in hospitality and customer service! His attentiveness and warm demeanor made the experience exceptional. The hospitality industry, especially in the west, needs more people like him. I have no doubt he’ll thrive and excel in this field. Desi Bar & Grill is hands down the most lively pub I’ve experienced in Canada in my more than half a decade here. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves great vibes, amazing food, and top-notch service. Five stars all the way!”

“When you are in the Mississauga area, you guys have to try Gladiator Burger! We have had a couple of really great meals here so far.
The chicken in any form is so delicious and if you get it spicy it just adds that amazing extra kick!
Also, the beef burgers are juicy and meaty.
The sides are plentiful and so great if you have a fry craving.
The desserts were also delish! The pistachio Tres Leches was so creamy and just the right amount of sweet.
Finally, the service was so great. Everyone that works here is attentive and makes sure that everything is great!
Please! Come visit! We would definitely make this a regular place if we lived in town!”

“Just came back from a celebratory birthday lunch! I have to say this place is AMAZING. Thank goodness they are only 10 mins away from me! Right away I noticed the lovely decor and ambiance! And they have the CUTEST authentic hand crafted ramen spoons! We had the meal for 4 which was absolutely PERFECT for us. The broth in all the dishes was excellent with just the perfect amount of spice. Love the vegetarian options! We had great service and food was served promptly. Will definitely visit again! “Gladiator Burger exceeded our expectations! We were visiting from the States with a family group of 10 people, and everything about our experience was excellent. The service was incredibly fast — as soon as we sat down and placed our order, the food was ready in about 10 minutes. Despite how quickly it came out, everything was fresh, hot, and made perfectly.
I ordered the True Emperor with beef and chicken, and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were great, the portions were generous, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals.

Nothing beats the comfort of authentic homemade flavor! The Maa ke hath ke paranthe hit the exact spot with that nostalgic, classic taste—swad wahi that instantly reminds you of home.
The wrap was incredibly hearty and super filling, packed with flavor in every bite. And the Punjabi kadhi? Absolutely out of this world! Tangy, rich, and perfectly spiced, it was easily the highlight of the meal.
