“We had a wonderful dinner at Magnone's. We ordered the Alfredo (Pappardelle), Carbonara, Polpette and Calamari.

- The Alfredo was amazing! Got only one word, perfect! 5 stars

- The Carbonara was also great - creamy and delicious. I'd say 4.5 stars

- The Polpette was good. There's three huge meat balls. They were tasty and nice, but I think there's something lacking in their sauce. 4 stars

- Lastly, the Calamari tossed with salt and chili flakes, and arugula. After a few bites, I was having different thoughts. I took a first bite, it was firm and chewy - awesome! But as I mix them to taste the whole flavor, I think it's just too salty and the chili flakes were strong it overpowered the taste of the calamari. The arugula couldn't balance the flavor - the saltiness was a let down. I'd give their Calamari a 3.

Overall, the dining experience was great! Service was fast, nice indoor and outdoor atmosphere. They have and upper level, but no accessibility push buttons, and not enough indoor space for baby strollers.“

Friendly, sweet, helpful and entertaining. As part of our 40th anniversary craft beer road trip, Northwinds and especially the staff were the highlights! I think they need a raise. Had the pleasure of stopping in the Blue Mountain location. Food was great and the beer is fantastic (many choices available). A main highlight were the servers, Kyra, Anna, Jess and Bea. I need to give my positive review - we had an exceptional experience from the ease with putting our names on the waitlist online, to the INCREDIBLE service we received from Jeff to the delicious food we all left with full tummies and smiles on our faces. “From a simple dinner for 2 to a large family celebratory gathering, this is one of our favourite venues. We never feel rushed and the quiet atmosphere is great for larger gatherings where some of your guests may be hard of hearing. While the menu is small, everything we have tried has been excellent. My favourite is the liver and onions and the Thai mussels, while my husband raves about the fish and chips. We rarely have room for dessert, but the frozen chocolate pate is to die for and is very shareable.“
