“Finally another great place to eat in Oak Ridges!! The service is great, and the food was so delicious we ordered it twice in one week!! All 3 of us enjoyed our meals. Chicken breast dinner, chicken tandoori dinner and the chicken chaplee dinner. Great portions and fantastic flavours. Also very happy they don’t charge for the sauces like other places near us do. “Oldie but a goodie, been at this location for ages, way before Oakridges became this developed and crowded.Good assortment of products and reasonable prices. My dad's go to store and he never fails to mais us with his purchases from there. Has warm deli and all that any one household might need under its roof.“

Those 2 sauces were good( like the red one) and salad was pretty fresh but the best thing I loved the dressing on the top of the salad. Overall 8 out of 10. “Bamiyan Kabob is a staple in my list of food places when I don't want to cook. I've been coming here for years and finally decided to share my thoughts. So I think the quality of the food has fallen since the original owners sold the restaurant to a relative or close family friend (I heard from someone, who knows someone, who knows someone from the family). After Bamiyan started opening locations everywhere, the portions and quality became inconsistent between locations. BUT, having said that, this is still the OG of Afghani food in the Toronto/East York area. The food at Bamiyan worst day is still better than similar places on their best day. On this occasion, I ordered the Chicken Kofta Kabob Dinner. For $18.99, you get a skewer of chicken, a skewer of minced beef, salad, naan, rice, and 2 sauces. ("Red" Tomato with some heat & "White" Yogurtish dip for the meats). The portions are generous. The meats are seasoned with Afghan spices and grilled to perfection. The rice is also delicious. I think the basmati rice is infused with a heap load of love. The salad usually has diced tomatoes, dice onions, and chopped cilantro/corinader. BUT, I always order it without the lettuce, I like to mix the salad with the rice. Try it, you'll thank me! The dinner was delicious, my stomach was happy. I've tried most of their offerings here with the exception of the salmon, and I have not been disappointed so far. The only con I have with Bamiyan is the choice of Pepsi products!! Long live COKE BABY!! So for the uninitiated, definitely give this place a try... my 2 cents.“

We always recommend the catering for any gathering, regardless the size. The pricing was also very reasonable and affordable. They definitely serve some of the best Afghan food in the region, and their portions are extremely generous. I will definitely return very soon!!!“
