“Gluten Free Burger Alert!!!!! This burger was ABSOLUTELY delicious. I devoured it. But I have to give a special shoutout to their loaded fries. They might have just been better than the burger.

If you’re looking for a takeout burger but hate other fast food chains, or need a bite after a Friday night out, this is definitely your spot.

EDIT: Sadly, after getting home with the food, we discovered that one of the burgers did not get the extra pickles we requested, and the fries were pretty much all the wimpy little ends after eating the top layer of full-sized fries. That's just not cool.

“Was hyped up quite a bit by a friend of mine but definitely did not disappoint. The side of curly fries for the combo was enough to share between two, especially if you’re both getting doubles. The burgers themselves were super well done, great crust and the an insanely satisfying bite. The service was also great, we went on a Saturday and both ladies at the front of house were friendly, kind and accommodating.“

“My husband and I were on our honeymoon last week and decided to try The Burgers Priest. We were so blessed to be served by a man named Steven. Not only was he super friendly and patient while we tried to decide what we wanted...but once he found out we were on our honeymoon he went out of his way to make us feel at home. He was happy to hear that people are still willing to take honeymoons and to see true love. I swear he was the friendliest person we met and he blessed us so much this visit. “Definitely a classic! We got their cheeseburger, which was $5.70 (double patty you add $2.40), veal on Kaiser ($6.50), cheese dog ($4.95), gravy on fries ($1.45) and the fountain drink ($1.45). Everything was pretty good, you can't really ruin a burger and for these prices, there's no room to complain. If you plan on getting the veal on kaiser, the veal isn't as thick as a burger but the flavour is there. The cheese dog was good but Johnny's burgers is better known for their burgers. They also told us that their hot dogs are a mix of chicken, beef, and pork so keep that in mind if you have any dietary restrictions. As for the gravy on fries...I loved it! We got the gravy on the side (which makes it easier to use the gravy on other food too) the gravy and fries were such a great combo! Overall, great staple in scarborough.“

Their grilled beef is always exceptionally tender and flavorful, thanks to the charcoal grill. We’ve tried both the signature beef burger and the mushroom version—both are great. If you prefer a more subtle cheesy aroma, go for the mushroom (made with milder Swiss cheese).

Also don’t skip the sweet potato fries—they’re a $1 upgrade on the set menu and 100% worth it.

“This is easily the best fast food spot downtown for me. The food is always hot and fresh, not like other places serving cold fries that’ve been sitting around and charge $16 for a combo

Prices are good compared to other fast food joints, but what keeps me coming back is how clean they are and how serious they are about food safety.

They wash their hands a lot, which I notice since I’m super germ-conscious. Only one time, I had to call out a guy who handled cash and then started packing food without washing his hands after. It seemed weird because I’d seen him wash his hands a few times before and after using the POS (no cash) while I was waiting to order.

Anyway, please keep up the hand-washing; it really stands out and matters to people like me who’ll ditch a place over one cross-contamination issue.

The workers are also nice and polite. This location is great and other franchises could learn a thing or two from them. 👍🏼“
