“Felt bad so gave her a tip as she is the only person working here and takes a while to make the food, ten minutes. I came In and interrupted a convo she was having with an old timer customer.
I think I was quoted the wrong price or I heard wrong but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. I got a club house sandwich and asked for the bacon on the side and got some fries. Total should be 5 dollars plus tax which is 5.60. I think I was asked for 6.50 but I'll let this slide as most come here for the price.
Gave her a tip anyway cause I felt bad!

“We finally got to go to this place as it's usually closed Mondays and Tuesdays when we are usually free. Today we were able to go on a Friday.
Our server Chris gave us an amazing experience. He recommended the breakfast sandwiches and the pancakes. We were hesitant at first to order the pancakes but he said we could slap him if we didn't like them! Chris said he has never been slapped by a disappointed customer. He was right! The pancake didn't taste like your typical pancake, it was much better! (No slapping Chris yesterday …lol) The breakfast sandwich was 10 times better than the ones you get at Tim Hortons. The hash brown and char siu sausage in the sandwich was so tasty. Chris was nice enough to give extra hash browns so we can really taste the crispyness.
Liben the manager was very nice in accommodating us without reservations. He even gave us a dish of yummy banana pudding on the house! Overall I give this place 5 stars. I highly recommend you make reservations as this place is always busy.“

“Truly love the Good Bite! Ate here as a kid and now bring my kids here on a routine basis. Great diner feel, and as many know, if you been here more than once Jimmy & Maria will greet you -- probably by name! Wonderful service, portions are generous and your coffee is filled up often!“

“We recently visited George Street Diner, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish.
The food was incredible — everything was flavorful, well-portioned, and clearly made with care. The highlight of the meal was the curry poutine, which was honestly the best poutine I’ve ever had. It was such a unique and special twist on a classic dish, perfectly balanced and packed with flavor. It’s something I’d go back for again and again.
The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server, Liz, was extremely friendly, warm, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. She made us feel welcome and added to the overall positive vibe of the place.
Overall, amazing food, amazing service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend — this is definitely a spot we’ll be returning to.“

“I was in lunch here, almost all seats were full even luckily I got a seat. It was unbelivable that I placed my order very quickly on my table and it was very tasty and delicious. Smiling Waiter and Waitress' Services are really appreciatable. Of course I wish to go back again!“
“This diner has become one of my favourite places to eat and chillax. The owners - a sweet married couple - are very hospitable, the food is great, and their daughter is funny and super friendly. I'll definite be taking along company next time to share the experience! :D“

“What an establishment! Quite embarrassed that having been in living in the city for 15 years and it has taken me this long to uncover this gem of a place for brunch. What I love about this place is the ambience and how spacious it is - the wait is almost non-existent or short even on weekends. The food is delicious, generous portions and please do yourself a favour and get their apple pie milkshake. The servers are amazing and food comes out pretty quickly. 10/10 this is one of my favorite spots for breakfast/brunch.“
