About KOKO Share Bar

KOKO Share Bar is a cozy Korean barbecue joint located in Yorkville. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options that can be made without meat or with a tofu substitute. The service is friendly and attentive, though some reviews mention that it can be slow, especially when refilling water or bringing requested items. The inside atmosphere is sleek and modern, yet warm and inviting, making it a good spot for a special night out. The food is delicious, with dishes like bibimbap served in a stone pot that’s more flavorful and filling than at typical Korean restaurants. The bibimbap features tender lobster, soft egg, bulgogi, fresh veggies, and flavorful sauces, creating a comforting bowl. The menu also includes the Seared Salmon and Sashimi Appetizer, which has a light sear and melt-in-your-mouth texture, and the sushi assortment with silky salmon, buttery tuna, and sweet snapper. For dessert, the Japanese Cheesecake in mango and green tea flavors is light, airy, and just sweet enough, with bright tropical and subtle matcha flavors. The restaurant’s cocktails, like Jeju Island and a smooth Cosmopolitan, complement the meal well. Although the space is small and reservations are recommended during busy times, attentive staff make guests feel cared for. Whether celebrating or just enjoying a meal, KOKO Share Bar offers a cozy, upscale Korean dining experience in Yorkville.

We didn't stay very long as we were in a rush. They were very accommodating. Everything we had was really good.

Loved the atmosphere of this place. The space felt tucked away & cozy but because of its location, it still felt lively. The food is delicious, we tried their kimchi trio and volcano sushi roll along with the salmon Bibimbap which I highly recommend. Overall it's a nice place to grab a quick bite before a night out.

It's too loud! Everyone yelling. Otherwise, love coming here. Food and service great. Just too loud!!
