“I don’t ever really write reviews on restaurants unless they are consistent with their food quality and standards. So with that being said, this is the third time I’ve ordered with Timmy’s and I definitely need to acknowledge this place. My husband and I order the same thing every time (we don’t really like change lol) and every single time with the two kebabs and rice it is ABSOLUTELY perfect. They don’t miss. The food that comes out of their kitchen is obviously made with love and care because they never let a bad plate go out. I’m not big on rice. At all. But this rice, I can eat all day, every day. They put a type of red sauce on it and a white sauce too. But it’s not what you think. It’s not the typical shawarma red and white sauce you get when you order a wrap or a plate. It’s savoury red sauce with tomatos and a little bit of kick. The white sauce seems yogurt based and it pairs absolutely perfect with the rice. And the rice, isn’t your typical white rice. It seems marinated in a way that is exploding with flavour just on its own. And don’t even get me started on the kebabs!!!! They’re juicy and big and packed full of flavour. And they give you two massive kebabs! TWO! This meal is not only filling but absolutely delicious and I’ve been addicted to Timmy’s Tanur since the moment I tried it the first time. Whether you’re dining in, taking out, using Uber eats or door dash, this restaurant will NEVER disappoint. They even throw in a delicious pita to make sure you’re full! Absolutely wonderful! I recommend this place to everyone and anyone!!!“

“Amazingly fast and friendly service. You think you're popping in for a quick bite but in that 2 minute encounter, a smile gets stuck on your face. And then you get to eat yummy food.

“We live in Ottawa, and a group of four of us was really hungry, so we decided to eat shawarma. The staff was very nice and prepared the shawarma for us. We loved it! We ordered one chicken shawarma and one falafel, and both were amazing, but the falafel was particularly delicious. Thank you! Whenever we come back to Hamilton, we will definitely return to enjoy it again.“

“Babaz is hands down one of the best spots for Middle Eastern shawarma. The food is always fresh, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious. The people working here are very kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. On top of that, there’s plenty of parking, so it’s easy and convenient to stop by anytime. If you’re looking for great shawarma and friendly service, Babaz is the place to go!“

“Never reviewed this place but they have an amazing shawarma. I thought it was standard across all lazeez but it isn't. I've never had a complaint about this place ever. I ordered from the Guelph line location today. Please come here instead of the Guelph line location. This place makes better food. I'll attach pictures from the Guelph line location. Tried Mr. Shawarma for the first time and it was amazing! I had the chicken shawarma wrap which was very big and filling and chicken fries—both were full of flavour, fresh, and super satisfying. “What a great meal from Golden Pita!!! We both enjoyed 2 main entrees of Chicken Shawarma and Shiska Kafka, delicious Lentil Soup, Salad with Pita’s and Baklava for dessert. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. We love to support this family owned restaurant, they are always wonderful and pleasant to deal with. The pricing is reasonable and worth it. “OK so if we’re talking about spicy food, this place has spicy food. But in all honesty, I would say almost a little too spicy.
It kinda hurts a little to be honest, but you literally get what you ask for which is much better than some places I go when they say it’s spicy and it kinda only tickles.
Their fries are amazing. It’s almost like a Shawarma style meal, but it’sso much better. I highly recommend this place.“

“Tried Jimmy the Greek in Hamilton and overall it was a solid experience. The portion size is generous, making it a great value around the $20 mark. It’s a great choice when you want something filling but not greasy. The meal felt fresh and satisfying.
A couple of downsides: the potatoes were a bit too mushy and oily, and the olives still had pits — which I understand is more authentic, but it’s not ideal when you’re not expecting it and have to spit them out mid-bite.
Still, if you’re looking for a hearty, relatively clean meal at a fair price, this is a reliable option.“
