“Excellent food. Good portion sizes.( Lunch size is what most other places would serve as dinner)I got two cod lunch specials and a poutine to go. Everything is made to order ,so its hot and fresh.Staff is really nice and welcoming.Everything is clean in the restaurant, older decor but well taken care of.It's a fantastic mom and pop restaurant that I will going to from now on.Plus they have a Big Mouth Billy Bass on the wall, that she showed my 3yr old while we where waiting.“
“I have been meaning to stop here for years but never got around to it. Prices have gone up a little in the past 3-5 years and the $16.99 for the 2 piece Halibut & Chips was reasonable.I decided to tackle the fish first and toss a few fries, so the photo doesn't really show how much fries you get which is a lot. Both were very tasty and on a day where there are long line-ups for fish, the service was very fast!I definitely will be back again for more!“
“Been here before a few times pre-covid. Was decent, nothing special.However..Went here recently, got 3x lunch specials.Fish was extremely greasy n small portion... They compensated that with a lot of fries. But I was shocked with the fries!! they seemed as if they were a day old! Dried, hard crusty.Edit.They have improved!!!!“
“Today, I tried the fish and chips at Golden Fish and Chips, and it was amazing! The fish was tender and juicy, with a perfectly golden and crispy batter. The chips were just the right level of crispiness. The ambiance and service of the restaurant were fantastic, making for a perfect dining experience! Highly recommend it to all food lovers“
