“Today Erin was our server at Cora’s SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB, super friendly, great, and wonderful staff at this location. The gentle that served our food (not sure if he was the owner or manger didn’t get your name) was polite and did a wonderful job getting everything we needed for our breakfast! After leaving I asked about the Cora’s water bottle they had on display and the same gentleman was able to give me a souvenir to take home! Thanks so much everybody! The food was awesome no cheaping out by these folks and the value would put anything else in Durham to shame it wasn't the cheapest place due to the quality of the food and the portions but it was far less expensive than the chain stores or the higher end restaurants. “I have been to Teddy's many times over the years. Surprised I've never left a review. Be prepared on a weekend or a weekday during the lunch rush to have a lineup to get in. Yes it's that good, and it's worth the wait.

The line generally moves quick and you can choose from one of their many dishes. This time we opted for:

BBQ Beef Melt with roast potatoes
Clubhouse and coleslaw
Pizza Burger with roast potatoes

All of the portions were enormous. The open face pizza food was superb. The BBQ Beef Melt was loaded with meat on a fresh bun.

We didn't get any pie this time but I'm a huge fan of the strawberry pie and my other half loves the coconut cream pie. It's 10/10.“

“it was a positive and negative first visit. lovely placed when we showed up. order was taken within a couple minutes. half hour later, not seeing our waitress the whole time, had to ask the other one if she could see what was going on with our order. she immediately seated us at a better order and took our order again. the original waitress then came over interrogating us on whether we just made a whole different order. I explained the situation. she read what she thought was our order, and it wasn't. when she finally came back with our food she claimed the order ticket had fallen on the ground. no apologies, simply excuse after excuse. even after all that, something as simple as she didn't bring the gravy yet also charged for that. I would recommend to the kitchen to put the fruit in a bowl as it made a plate full of liquid under the rest of my breakfast. the food was absolutely delicious and the one waitress was very helpful. but I probably won't return after this experience. hoping it's just a one off bad day“

“King's Breakfast Place is a restaraunt that has been a true gem in Downtown Oshawa..
Despite the name they serve much more than breakfast..
This is a family Diner..
Everyday they have a different 'Special' on.
Last Friday the 'Special' was
Fish and Chips..
Delicious
The prices are very reasonable in these expensive times..

If you've never been here I do recommend this excellent Diner.
There are plenty of tables with padded seats..
There's three big-screen T.V.'s..
This is a very clean restaurant with large, floor to ceiling windows creating a warm, natural light which add's to the aesthetics and home-like charm to this delightful Family Restaurant..

“We have dined at a lot of Breakfast Restaurants in the Durham Ontario area and the best for quality, quantity, service and reasonable pricing is Scrambles in Ajax Ontario hands down. The cook puts together an amazing bacon and egg or sausage and egg breakfast. They have a great morning special for each dish. Also, our server, Shahana is always amazing.
