“Overall positive experience. A very large breakfast place that was surprisingly empty when I went in. The single waitress was exceptional, I wish I grabbed her name.

Menu selections were very good. I ordered the big breakfast and it was great. Sausages were a little bit greasy, but I’m willing to overlook that for the quality of the rest of the breakfast.

“Today Erin was our server at Cora’s SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB, super friendly, great, and wonderful staff at this location. The gentle that served our food (not sure if he was the owner or manger didn’t get your name) was polite and did a wonderful job getting everything we needed for our breakfast! After leaving I asked about the Cora’s water bottle they had on display and the same gentleman was able to give me a souvenir to take home! Thanks so much everybody! “Everything was fantastic at Eggsmart! Our server was Jeremy who was great! He made sure we were well looked after, enthusiatic and made sure everything was how we had asked for it. The club sandwich was so big and tge fries were delish. My hubby ordered a western sandwich with homefries which he was also raving about.

“This is the iconic family restaurant. Everyone knows about it and has been there. They don't sell alcohol, but it is a place for all ages. It's been here for as long as I can remember, and it is still just as good as I remember. If a family is looking for a place to eat. I'd highly recommend this place. However, make sure you don't go during rush hour. Like I said, this place has been here for a long time and gets crazy busy sometimes. You may be waiting for a long time if you go during those busy times. But they try and get you seated fast. With all that said, I still highly recommend this place for families.“

“it was a positive and negative first visit. lovely placed when we showed up. order was taken within a couple minutes. half hour later, not seeing our waitress the whole time, had to ask the other one if she could see what was going on with our order. she immediately seated us at a better order and took our order again. the original waitress then came over interrogating us on whether we just made a whole different order. I explained the situation. she read what she thought was our order, and it wasn't. when she finally came back with our food she claimed the order ticket had fallen on the ground. no apologies, simply excuse after excuse. even after all that, something as simple as she didn't bring the gravy yet also charged for that. I would recommend to the kitchen to put the fruit in a bowl as it made a plate full of liquid under the rest of my breakfast. the food was absolutely delicious and the one waitress was very helpful. but I probably won't return after this experience. hoping it's just a one off bad day“

“King's Breakfast Place is a restaraunt that has been a true gem in Downtown Oshawa..
Despite the name they serve much more than breakfast..
This is a family Diner..
Everyday they have a different 'Special' on.
Last Friday the 'Special' was
Fish and Chips..
Delicious
The prices are very reasonable in these expensive times..

If you've never been here I do recommend this excellent Diner.
There are plenty of tables with padded seats..
There's three big-screen T.V.'s..
This is a very clean restaurant with large, floor to ceiling windows creating a warm, natural light which add's to the aesthetics and home-like charm to this delightful Family Restaurant..

“We have dined at a lot of Breakfast Restaurants in the Durham Ontario area and the best for quality, quantity, service and reasonable pricing is Scrambles in Ajax Ontario hands down. The cook puts together an amazing bacon and egg or sausage and egg breakfast. They have a great morning special for each dish. Also, our server, Shahana is always amazing. However, the service was a bit slow during our visit—it took some time for us to be served and cashed out, possibly due to being short-staffed.

We ordered the Eggsmart Big Breakfast, Classic Benedict with Ham, and Classic Benedict with Salmon. Each plate was hearty, flavourful, and hit the spot—everything you’d want from a breakfast spot. The fact that we cleaned our plates says it all: the food was delicious and satisfying.
