I got the chicken shawarma and Zach was nice enough to gift me his wife's homemade baklava. I would go back and try the food again, maybe it was an off day. Still fantastic food I was just hoping for a bit more. The service is what will bring me back!“

“I ordered from Monaco last night on my way home. Not only was the food fantastic. The customer service went above and beyond. When I got home I was so sad because I realized everything but the shawarma I ordered was in the bag and it was now 10 to 10...they close at 10. I called, hoping maybe I could get a small refund or rain cheque or something. But before I could even ask they said... yeah I thought I put them in the bag, so... where do you live? I told them and he then said ok Im going to drive these over to you. 15 minutes later I have my shawarma and a wonderful suprise of a 4 piece baklava! completely not necassary but very welcomed. Thanks for a great dinner Monaco and for the even better Customer Service!“

“It's been called SAWA SHAWARMA & GRILL since the ownership changed in 2024 and the food has only gotten better. Windsor has lots of good shawarma, and this is some of the best in the city. The potatoes have a lot of spices. If you want less spice, then get the rice.“

“En route to Detroit and needed some halal food. I got the mixed shawarma plate - it came with fattoush garlic spicey potato’s and pickles. The meat and chicken shawarma was sooo good- it was sliced perfectly, and dressed in tahini. The fattouch was amazing. Will definitely come back next time in Windsor!!“

“We ordered the half chicken with rice. The rice had Pico on part of it, black beans and corn. It came with grilled vegetables and two sauces. The chicken had a great flavor and was very moist. It was very delicious, I would recommend it and I would definitely be going back. Also the price was great!“

“I walked in and mentioned wanting to try grape leafs again as it's been a min since I had them.. I was told the price and just decided to have My shawarma and rice instead .. As I began eating my meal , one of the kind gentlemen gave me 2 grape leafs free of charge. When I offered to pay for them he insisted it was OK! .. Turns out I love them and I loved the service i recieved so I ordered grape leafs to go. The shawarmas are amazing!!!! & The grape leafs are amazing and most importantly the service was very good. “Stopped by Hamoudi’s again for lunch today after a while, didn’t have the best experience at another location before, but the Lakeshore spot completely changed my mind. The food was delicious, prices were good, and the customer service from the young lady and young gentleman working today was unbeatable. Such a great experience. “This is BY FAR one of the best restaurants in Windsor. Absolutely blown away when we recently got take out from here, just outstanding. Everything is homemade , very large portions. Had the spinach pie ( probably the best I have had in my lifetime) and the Shawarma beef and chicken plate . Just so flavourful and unique! Their pita bread is all homemade as well and it’s unbelievable. I literally called them after our meal to rave ! Will eat here again many times to come.“
