I got the chicken shawarma and Zach was nice enough to gift me his wife's homemade baklava. I would go back and try the food again, maybe it was an off day. “I ordered from Monaco last night on my way home. Not only was the food fantastic. The customer service went above and beyond. When I got home I was so sad because I realized everything but the shawarma I ordered was in the bag and it was now 10 to 10...they close at 10. I called, hoping maybe I could get a small refund or rain cheque or something. But before I could even ask they said... yeah I thought I put them in the bag, so... where do you live? I told them and he then said ok Im going to drive these over to you. 15 minutes later I have my shawarma and a wonderful suprise of a 4 piece baklava! completely not necassary but very welcomed. Thanks for a great dinner Monaco and for the even better Customer Service!“

“En route to Detroit and needed some halal food. I got the mixed shawarma plate - it came with fattoush garlic spicey potato’s and pickles. The meat and chicken shawarma was sooo good- it was sliced perfectly, and dressed in tahini. The fattouch was amazing. Will definitely come back next time in Windsor!!“

“It's been called SAWA SHAWARMA & GRILL since the ownership changed in 2024 and the food has only gotten better. Windsor has lots of good shawarma, and this is some of the best in the city. The potatoes have a lot of spices. If you want less spice, then get the rice.“

“The food was fantastic! Our waitress was very cordial and customer service was excellent. Lunch was with six women and meals were hot, served together. The room was a bit chilly, but our meals made up for that. Highly recommend!“

“We ordered the half chicken with rice. The rice had Pico on part of it, black beans and corn. It came with grilled vegetables and two sauces. The chicken had a great flavor and was very moist. “This is BY FAR one of the best restaurants in Windsor. Absolutely blown away when we recently got take out from here, just outstanding. Everything is homemade , very large portions. Had the spinach pie ( probably the best I have had in my lifetime) and the Shawarma beef and chicken plate . Just so flavourful and unique! Their pita bread is all homemade as well and it’s unbelievable. I literally called them after our meal to rave ! Will eat here again many times to come.“
