“Fast, fresh, clean, friendly and delicious.
I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl online and it was ready when I got there. I arrived within 15 minutes of placing the order and it wasn't very hot. It is enough food for 2 or 3 meals. I will eat there again“

“I went to the Middle Eats on Eureka Rd in Southgate after the gym. My doctor put me a pretty restrictive diet due to my diabetes. I admit I was kind of apprehensive walking in because it’s been a real chore to stick to it when I have to eat out. I walked in and a young lady named Kayla R was at the counter. I apologized to her saying I need to ask questions about my order and I’m on dietary restrictions. She was incredibly nice and understanding. She asked me what I could and couldn’t eat and even made suggestions on how to make my meal that would comply to the restrictions. She even said she could make a phone call to find the exact ingredients of the sauce if I wanted her to. I was so impressed. In the end I got a bowl that complied to the dietary restrictions and it was very good. The other employees were also making suggestions and when I apologized for being a pain they all said they were happy to help. This wasn’t my first time there and it definitely won’t be my last. I can’t express my gratitude on how they all went totally out of their way to accommodate me. Thank you Kayla and staff!“

And I got the loaded shawarma fries and those are a must try if u love munchie type foods!! I also got a beef sandwich and chicken sandwich. Everything was fantastic!! “First time went for Iftar with the family and amazingly everything was on point mashallah. We heard mix reviews from our friends and family but honestly we didn't taste anything better than this place in michigan. For the buffet they had various options to choose from and the price was really affordable. We tried the best zilabi on town. My picky eater son finished everything which means it's really good. “Went here for the first time with my daughter, who is a coffee aficionado. We both loved the decor of the place. It’s quite beautiful and the menu offers so much variety that I wasn’t familiar with, I know I’ll be back. Our coffees were unique, and the pastries were tasty. I’ve seen others complain about the price but we paid about $20 for two coffees two pastries and that includes a tip. I don’t think that’s unreasonable in today’s world and it’s so much better than chain coffee shops.“

“Came in for the first time with a major pregnancy craving for some Lamb Shawarma. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly kind and helpful, double checking how much spice I wanted, and letting me know it would take about 15 minutes as it’s made fresh. Took the food home and everything was absolutely delicious! The lamb was tender and well marinaded, the seasoning was flavorful, and the vegetables and garlic sauce complemented everything wonderfully. Between the great service and quality, I will definitely be back again for this hidden gem!“

“Not only is the food amazing, but the service here is unparalleled. Through a mistake of my own, my order was actually not placed when I thought it was. Even after figuring out it was my fault the wonderful staff here rushed my order through very fast, and were apologizing to me even though it was my fault. That’s not the type of service you get just anywhere. And the food? The Chicken Mandi was literally “fall off the bone” tender. The rice was cooked to perfection and you can tell their sauces are made fresh and in house. All of this for the most reasonably priced middle eastern food around. “So disappointing. Yearssssss ago, this place used to be my go to for Mediterranean dishes. After 2020, this place has consistently gone down hill. At first it was "hit or miss" but its all "miss". So much so that I went to be bed hungry vs eating my carry out. It's so unfortunate because they used to be so good. Yesterday was my last try, I bow out.“

I ordered a 'grilled chicken'...and it's more like a grilled seasonal rotisserie' WHOLE CHICKEN, face-down, served with slices of lemon, FF, sliced tomatoes, 'pickled' green peppers', came with nice side salad in the beginning, ended with small hot tea.. WAY MORE than I can handle for sure! Definitely worth the $25 meal (disadvantage, no alcohol served)... Overall.. very good Middle East restaurant!“

“Now this place is amazing. It has everything you want. The food is fantastic. Lots to pick from and the guys behind the counter are not your typical store food chefs. They are making art with food. Your mouth will know the difference. Plus they have a full store of goods and drinks. It's a one stop shop for basically anything you need. The staff is very cool. One guy reminds me of Sal for Deadwood. It's fun just to visit. They also deliver if you don't want to go there. Reminds me of some southern cooking. One guybhas 25 yrs in the place cooking and creates some amazing dishes like chicken alfredo stuff potatoes. Or Lamb chops. Wingdigs are out of this world. Full kitchen with lots of choices.“

“I knew the food was gonna be good when I was greeted by a slightly aggressive Arab woman (she was actually really nice and stayed open later for us but very direct). I ordered ahead of time and it was delivered as soon as I walked in with the classic Iraq dish they serve being well seasoned and not to heavy on the stomach. The food was all around good and the vibes and service wasn’t bad at all although I was initially worried by reviews. They did the food justice and the place was clean/had a good atmosphere leading me to give it 5-stars.“
