“An amazing first time Kamayan experience! We celebrated a birthday and it was made very special from beginning to end. The waitress guided us through the experience and was super accommodating to dietary restrictions. The food was delicious and well worth the very reasonable price paid. A very enjoyable experience!“
“Wow! This is the best food i’ve had in a very long time. The presentation was gorgeous and the atmosphere and decorations reminded me so much of the Philippines. My favourites were the pork skewers and spring rolls, they were so flavourful and filling. The owners were super welcoming and friendly, I had no trouble communicating with them. The food was so authentic, I am definitely going to be coming back and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone since there were so many foods to choose from on the menu!“
“Amazing food and objectively, they're consistent with the quality. I've visited more than 5 times already to attest to it. I also got the chance to know the owners and they're one of the most generous and nice people to meet. I recommend getting the Chicken Adobo.I've just posted photos that I have from the different times I've visited.Vegetarian options: There are options and they are friendly and courteous to adjust the meal to your liking.Parking: Parking space is beside the establishment.Kid-friendliness: It's kid friendly and they have options that kids will like.“
“My friend and I had a delicious Filipino breakfast of House Pork Sausage with fried eggs and garlic rice at this tiny eatery near Bathurst and College. Also shared some scrumptious fried chicken. Everything that we ordered from the small menu was very good. Service was very attentive, courteous and friendly. Because this restaurant is quite small in size and limited in seating, we suggest that you go early to avoid the need to wait for a seat. That said, BBs is well worth a trip. Highly recommended.“
“Came here for brunch after the place we were planning on going to which was nearby was full. The vibe was giving nightclub. Very dark. It was nearly empty inside (although there were people out on the patio). The music was terrible. Ordered a coffee, she said they have no cream, just milk... I was starting to think I'd made a mistake....But then the food arrived. The lumpia was the best lumpia I've ever had! Ordered the pork belly lettuce wraps and they were equally fantastic! My husband had the Philipino breakfast and really enjoyed it, and my friend had the French Toast which wasn't your typical French Toast but he also said it was really good. Will totally go back here sometime to try their dinner menu. If you're in the area, it's worth checking out.“
“Finally had the chance to visit B's Sizzling Kitchen after numerous UberEats orders. Since coming on a weekday, right when they opened, it was empty however they already had lots of take out orders! We got seated and was given menus right away. Their menu is very big so it could get overwhelming so do take your time and ask questions! We ordered a Tosilog (Tocino, Garlic Rice and Eggs) and their Lunch Special 15 (Bbq Chicken, Cebu Lechon and side of Garlic Rice and Crispy Fries).Everything tasted good and authentic. I especially appreciated the variety of sauces you're given with your order. My only complaint is the plates they used for the food, mine was served on such a small rectangular plate, I kept dropping food everywhere! Their portions are really good so I would hope for a decent plate for comfort. Aside from that, the garlic rice was phenomenal, just like how I remembered it growing up.Definitely a spot to check out!!“
“This place is wonderful. I've been getting the same thing over and over again, and its not likely I'm stopping any time soon. This is definitely my new favourite Filipino snack spot, if not for the memories I am able to relive through the food here, than for the insane variety of food they do offer.11/10.“
“Tinuno rocked our taste buds with the Kamayan Feast for four! It had a yummy combo of milkfish, tilapia, BBQ pork, squid, shrimp, mussel, okra, eggplant, mango salad, and garlic rice. Each dish was expertly made, hitting the spot with amazing flavors. The cozy communal vibe and top-notch service made it even better. Tinuno serves up real Filipino goodness in a friendly setting.“
“Best Halo-halo in town! With pinipig surprisingly!❤️ We’re lucky to have this awesome diner in our neighbourhood! Our go to comfort food, happy meal and very creative but affordable cuisine. There’s always “wow” factor when your meal is served. It could be breakfast/brunch, late lunch or early dinner. Compliments to the chef Kuya Rico and his sweet wife, Ate Marlene. Looking forward to our next visit..❤️“
“We came in for Pinoy breakfast. Got the pares, tocilog and lechon kawali-log. Food was amqzing. Then went to get the 6 piece turon. Great dessert. Place is highly recommended. They normally open at 9 so before doing your Yorkdale shopping, get your breakfast here.“
“Absolutely fantastic experience! Visited with my family and couldn’t have been happier. The beef tapa with homemade gravy sauce paired with java rice was an absolute delight—a perfect blend of flavors that left us craving for more. The variety on the menu is impressive, but the sizzling tapa stole the show for us, especially my dad! We’re making this our Saturday tradition—it’s just that good! Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant for its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere“
“We were suddenly hungry because we were just going to buy bread at Wilson's..and then we entered the restaurant..it's a simple place to eat but the food is THE BESTTTTTTT especially the 'Sinigang Vegetables'. The dishes are delicious. So the next week I came back to try their other food again. This is where I always eat when I crave Filipino Food. :D“
“We recently ordered food trays from Tahanan Restaurant after the previous caterer cancelled on us the day before. Their service is execellent 10/10 and they were able to deliver even with less than 24hr notice. They are professional and everybody loved their food. We definitely recommend this place to everybody. Maraming, maraming salamat po for accommodating us❤️“
“Went here just to buy their famous Halo Halo. The staff greeted me with a smile and that’s really rare for some other restaurant. I liked it , I feel the warm and welcoming feeling. Really recommend going here if you are craving for Filipino desert. They also have different varieties of Filipino foods and also sell snack and everyday use condiments.“
“Great food and great selection as well. The sizzling pork sisig was amazingly tasty, and I highly recommend adding the egg. The Lumpia pork spring rolls are a great and tasty appetizer, with plenty to share among a group of people.I only tried the regular Chicken skewers which had a great sauce on them. I definitely plan on going back to try the more "out there" dishes, like Balut or the chicken feet or blood skewers. You can get quite a lot of really high quality food, for a very good price.“
“Yelpers this is a hidden gem ! They served really massive deep fried pork belly and guacamole. This is a take out spot, the service is quick and the quality is good. They also serve other Filipino dishes so try them all. I particularly liked the Shanghai lumpias“
“Walked in at 11am and was greeted by this gentleman and the lady owner. They’re so welcoming and were very friendly! They have the best LAING (coconut dish with taro leaves) in the city! I wish I bought three tubs. Their bangus paksiw and atchara (both in the picture) were delicious too! Very well priced and affordable. Oh also their fried banana/ Turon was great! If you’re hosting a party, Marcy Fine Foods would be a reliable place to order from:) I’ll visit again when I’m in the area“
“Super friendly staff and the crispy pata was so good with a lot of meat not just fat and skin ? the skin was crispy and the meat juicy and moist. It was a good price. Often I find crispy pata is soo expensive with little meat. This was the best price and super delicious. Also I really liked their turon and they had lots. Places always run out lol“
“The food was amazingly good and fresh, especially the broth of the lomi, as well as the service. The service was quick since it wasn't busy during the day. The food tastes just like home.- It's unfortunate that there's no halo-halo, as my boyfriend and I were really looking forward to having some.“
“Just had their kalbi, sisig, and kare. Their kare seemed more like pork belly with peabut sauce, which is still delicious, but not stewed. Was hoping it would be proper oxtails. (It's the only reason why I give it 4 stars). Otherwise, the staff and service were great. I'm not a sweets guy, but I had mochi balls for dessert. I'll definitely be back in a few months.Good times!“
“Love this place. Delicious foods, fresh cuisine and great service! This was my go-to place when I’m in the area and wanted a quick bite or a full meal. The owner is so friendly and pleasant. I recommend this place not only for a Filipino cuisine but great desserts as well!“
