“Authentic and incredibly delicious Turkish cuisine — the meal includes appetizers (delicious spreads with homemade bread) and tea at the end (perfect digestive). The skewers were the most delicious I've had in Toronto, and the Alinazik was also mouthwatering (a combination of lamb and baba ghanoush). “Late one night, a friend and I needed some food to pad our stomachs from the alcohol we were having. A friendly gentleman greeted us as we ordered the shawarma poutine to split and some baklava. We had our pick of the tables as we were the only ones in the shop. When our order was ready, he gave us table service, serving us a mountain of some of the best shawarma I've ever had. On our way out, we decided to get a bar of his kunafa chocolate (apparently homemade) and it was just as stellar as the shawarma.

I visited Mustafa Turkish Kebap - Pide - Doner for lunch and it was an amazing experience. I had the yaprak döner with rice, and they served it with freshly baked warm bread. The food was very fresh, delicious, and honestly one of the best döner I’ve ever had abroad. The two waiters were also very friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. Definitely a place I would recommend and will come back to!“

“One of the rare Turkish diners for golzleme. That's part of Turkish village breakfast menu but these guys have it and make it right. The rest of breakfast is complete, breads fresh, and a good spread. I go there all the time.“

To start, the meat maeesha had a really nice flatbread and the meat was nicely seasoned with a bit of a cinnamon flavour to it - this was unexpected but a delicious surprise for me. Next I had the mixed kebab, which I highly recommend. The meat, sauces, rice and pita were perfection. The hummus though… SO GOOD!! “I recently visited Almast Turkish in Mississauga and overall the experience was fine, but not exceptional. I tried their baklava, which looked appealing, but the taste was just okay - not as rich or fresh as I’ve had at other Turkish spots. On the other hand, I did enjoy their coffee. It had a good flavour and was probably the highlight of my visit.

The service was polite and efficient, though nothing particularly memorable. The space itself is pleasant enough if you want to sit and have a dessert with coffee, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back. In my opinion, it’s a decent option if you’re nearby and craving something sweet, but it didn’t stand out compared to other bakeries or cafés in the area.

In particular I love their personal sized pizzas and a tubular pastry that has feta and spinach Burek I think, I forget the name but absolutely the most crispy flaky and delicious breakfast I can have. Seems (pronounce Shems) is the gentlman usually behind the counter who is just the kindest man. They also have raw honey which my kids loved and I just tried the cherry drink.
