I finally tried this place after hearing it recommended for years. Absolutely delicious. I usually get the carne asada plate. They cook it exactly to your preference. It's always a good piece of meat (not fatty or gristly). Their servers are really nice. It is mostly booth seating (very comfortable) with larger tables in the middle for larger parties. Their margs are good and strong. This is now my go-to place in Albany for Mexican food.
This place was amazing hands-down if you are looking for a Mexican restaurant in Albany, this is the place you should go. The food came fast and hot. The ingredients were fresh. The service was amazing. They continuously came and refilled drinks and asked us how we were doing, and if we need anything, and the interactions among themselves was really good as well. We had a great meal and family dinner in authentic Mexican restaurant. The parking lot is a little strange, but free. The staff were very friendly and helpful.The prices are good for large quantities of food. The steak was tender and very flavorful for my fajitas. The Taco salad was delicious.
