“Wow. I got the lamb gyro with some falafel in it... and this was probably the best gyro I ever had. I got the spicy version and the tzatziki totally balanced it out - not too spicy, just flavorful. The lamb was tender and the falafel was moist and crunchy.
Highly recommend.“

“Just dropped in for the first time. Got the lamb mezza platter. Amazing! The tabbouleh is wonderfully herbaceous, the falafel is produced in-house and fantastic! Every bite was a wonderful experience of flavor and texture! Full, and very, very, very satisfied. Can't wait for a return visit!“

“We visited our son two weeks ago and he took us here. The food was absolutely delicious and the manager/owner was so friendly and gracious. We sampled the walnut baklava along with the pistachio and both were amazing. We were completely stuffed and enjoyed our dinner there. Would highly recommend!“

“Mama's Shawarma was a great place to eat at the food court in downtown Hillsboro. It was really good and delicious; I'd never had anything like it before. I got the Chicken Arabi. It sort of has a pickly, sour, and savory taste to it. I would definitely recommend it. They also give you tons of fries, perfect to share with two people if needed.“

“We pick up take out from here at least once a month. It is always fast and good quality with a large serving sizes. Their chicken shawarma and lamb gyros are my favorites among all the other gyro restaurants in the area. Staff was helpful for dietary restrictions. They have Arabic and Greek style pita bread, which both are good. It is in a strip mall so not much atmosphere but the food makes up for it. My kids really like the chicken shawarma and it is so easy for a quick dinner.“

“The man who took our order went out of his way to pack our food up for our beach trip, including a bag of ice for the tatziki😌 the food was amazing, fresh and portions were large and fairly priced. We're excited to visit again! Thank you Monte Gyro!“

“These guys are fantastic!!! Friendly service and a casual atmosphere, but some of the best middle eastern food I've had. The babaganoosh is smokey and perfectly balanced, the Kafka kabob is great and the marinated chicken breast on basmati rice is tender. I'll be back every chance I get!“

“Wow! My boyfriend and I stopped here randomly because we needed some lunch during a move and the food is fantastic!!
The star of the show is this pistachio baklava I got that is simply phenomenal!! We live in St. Johns but I think I would make the drive all of the way back just for this baklava. 1000/10!
