“Went to Rovente for the first time last night and OH MY GOODNESS WILL WE BE BACK!!! I'm new to the area and an absolute lover of pizza and this is the best I've found. I ordered a cheese pizza and a custom. We tried the cheese first and were so beyond stoked. If the cheese pizza was that good we couldn't wait to try our custom and oh my goodness I wish I had the words to explain how good it is. The crust is more on the thin side which I loved as it was firm with a bit of crunch but also soft and perfectly chewable. Their sauce was phenomenal, we got regular red on the cheese and spicy red on the other and both were amazing. The cheeses and toppings also were fresh and delicious! I think the gal working the counter was named Kat and I think she mentioned she was a manager, I told her it was my first time in and how excited I was to try you guys. She told me about how Rovente's is family owned and how amazing the owners are which are all things I love to hear as a customer. I also really loved her confidence that I was going to love the pizza and boy was she right! Crust, cheese, and toppings were all spot on. Closest I’ve come in PDX to finding the pizza I grew up with back in Chicago!“

“A simple place with really unusual pizza. At first, I wasn't wild about the idea of a thick crust pizza, almost like focaccia - but I quickly changed my mind upon the first bite.

We only ordered their gluten free pizza, so I can't attest to their regular crust. GF pizza crusts have gotten pretty good over the years, so I've come to expect it, but I never tasted anything like this one.

The sides of the crust had a crisp crunch, and I understand that Wisconsin Brick cheese was incorporated into the edges. Wow. The middle, which I was afraid would be dry and tasteless, was full of flavor.

Sauce and toppings were excellent and of high quality.

I was told that the owner has a bakery background, and it's clear that they know what they're doing. I wish them luck with this new business; I'll certainly be back.

This was our first time visiting our local MOD Pizza here in Hillsboro, and wow—what an experience!
From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a good time. Christopher greeted us at the door rocking a cowboy hat, and that instantly set the tone for a fun and welcoming visit. As we went through the ordering process, he kept the energy going—he was hilarious, easy to banter with, and made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable.
It wasn’t just about ordering pizza—it felt like a real human connection, which you don’t always get these days. Christopher truly made our visit memorable, and you can tell he loves what he does.
And of course, the pizza was amazing too!
We’re so excited to have found our new MOD “family” here in Hillsboro. Thank you for such a fantastic experience—we’ll definitely be back soon!

“I placed an online order earlier in the day and scheduled it for delivery later in the evening so it would arrive around the time my family got together 🍕😊. Surprisingly, the pizza showed up about 15 minutes earlier than expected. When we opened the boxes, we realized that some of the pizza combinations and sizes seemed mixed up, which left everyone a little confused at first 😅.

I decided to call the restaurant and calmly explained the situation. The staff handled it incredibly well and were very understanding. Without any hassle, they immediately fixed the mistake and even sent out a completely new order for delivery! 🚗💨

That level of customer service really impressed me. They truly went above and beyond what I expected, and it made the whole experience much better. I was insufficiently clear re: my weird dietary restrictions (autoimmune disease ftw) when ordering my salad, then came back 5min later to pick up said salad--and found that one magnificent icon sweetpea employee had gone to bat to protect me from cheese, and a second kickass employee had made 2 different salads just in case. !!!
