“Valley view is a beautiful place and such a rich history! The people here are so personable and make it a great experience. You can walk around the vineyard, they have games and tables and seating outside with beautiful views of the mountains and the grounds. Your next wine tasting experience with the girls, date night, or with family and friends needs to be here!“

“I attended a casual class at Quady North recently to learn more about wine (I'm a neophyte) and to taste some Rose wines and thoughtful pairings. Even though I was ridiculously late they were warm and accommodating and Joe took great care in catching me up and making sure I had a chance to taste all the wines they were pouring. When I advised her that I had no idea how to properly taste wine, she gave me a crash course and enthusiastically answered all of my questions. Great experience, great wine, great people! Killer sparkling Cab Franc, can't wait to go back!“

“I had my first visit here, first time tasting Troon's wines, in fact, last week, along with my sister and mother. Highly impressive place, wines, and people. Both reds and whites--Syrah & Roussanne, especially--were outstanding and would be stylistically familiar to those who mostly drink French wines. They taste like a place, which is as the best wine should. Superior service and knowledge from the woman who took care of us--Desireé, I believe. Outstanding.

BTW, I've lived in Napa Valley for almost 30 years and lived in Alexander Valley/Sonoma County before that. I wish there were more wineries down here that shared Troon's qualities. One side comment--while I have trouble finding the scientific basis of biodynamic ag, I can't argue with the wines.“

“Wow, what a find! On my way south on the I5, I did a quick google search for "best bbq in grants pass" and Ma's was in the top 3. I ordered the pork ribs and they did not disappoint. Meaty, tender and the dry rub was delicious! I choose the sweet jalapeño sauce which paired with the ribs expertly. Sweet, tangy and with just enough heat. I got corn and the purple slaw as sides...super YUM! Both accompaniments were unique, savory, and obviously hand made. Service was friendly and fast. I highly recommend Ma's BBQ. I am looking forward to stopping by the next time I'm headed north.“
