“My daughter and I decided to give this place a shot while in town visiting. Absolutely 10/10 for service, coffee and atmosphere. The baristas are very polite and the coffee is the best I've found around stayton/sublimity. My daughter loves the little game table they have set up and inside is cute and cozy. We both agree this our favorite coffee shop away from home and we will definitely be making this our go-to whenever in Sublimity.

“How could I not love a small business coffee place that has delicious sandwiches and incredible coffee concoctions that go all the way up to FORTY FOUR OUNCES! I’m a dog groomer y’all, I need my coffee, and Coffee In Motion not only provides enough to get me through my day, no matter how hairy it gets, but does so with such warm smiles, conversation and obvious passion for what they do. “Had unfortunate experience at Lancaster location this morning. Employees were more interested in visiting with the person in front of me than taking my order. Even after getting her drink she did not move. Several people came out of the building and it appeared they were also going to talk with the customer. I won't be surprised if they didn't laugh when I drove away“

“A local staple for good reason: excellent coffee, fresh fruit smoothies and super friendly baristas. I regularly order off menu since I drink 8oz lattes rather than the standard 12oz that most places offer as their smallest. The baristas easily (and mostly consistently) pour my latte short to perfection, albeit SUPER hot. Which is also not common elsewhere, but I would rather wait for it to cool than have it already too cool.

They use local fresh fruit for their marion berry and strawberry smoothies, so even in the winter or early spring you're eating local!

And most recently I discovered for their iced lattes, they are using recently poured espresso shots already chilled! Genius, and considering its been so hot lately, an undiluted latte has been well enjoyed! Thanks yall! OH, and the prices are good too!“

“Driving through my town wanted to try a local roaster - no luck, they were closed at 10:45am on Friday. While Starbucks is soul searching as a business I am looking for alternatives, so stopped at Black Rock coffee. This is a drive through only, friendly staff, average coffee place.“

Every time I have done so, I have been pleased with the friendly service. Sometimes they seem a bit understaffed for the level of busyness, but they have always apologized if wait seemed long and are efficient and attentive when it is my turn to order. I have always received the exact drink I ordered (I do have a more complicated order!) Service was very friendly and quick; my boyfriend's burrito was delivered steaming hot so we knew it was fresh! Easily the biggest selection of drink flavors too, I had the Amaretto added to my dirty chai latte and it was delicious.
Really enjoyed browsing the handcrafted wood products and will absolutely be returning to furnish my kitchen with some of their coasters and cutting boards in the future (again- great prices for such beautiful work!)

“The service was just fine. The coffee was typical of Starbucks—good. There are three tables to sit at and free WiFi if you need to work or whatever. It’s inside Fred Meyers so it’s not the normal Starbucks atmosphere. But it’s all good. Starbucks is Starbucks. If you’re looking to sit with coffee like I was, this will do the trick.

“Walking through Salem and found this restaurant and decided to try it. Very friendly staff. Waitress was wonderful! Attentive and stopped by our table regularly. Food was usual tavern type food. But good. We had pretzels, bruschetta, chicken fingers, and pasta Alfredo. Good. Not great. Prices were mid-range….probably just a bit high for the food quality. But overall a good experience.“
