“La Provence in Beaverton is our favorite location in this excellent chain, and we always enjoy their wonderful food when we are visiting the area. Their bakery has suppled us with many welcomed hostess or celebration gifts (oh, those macarons!) over the years. The staff is excellent as well (hi, Cory, thanks again!). Highly recommended.“
“Had an evening food tasting here - there were several courses of delicious food provided with the experience. We added on the apple cider vinegar drink, which was the right choice to warm us up for the winter food tasting.Although I had noted with my booking that I'm gluten-free, they brought me a few courses with gluten. I had to keep checking and waiting for a revised course to be provided when the mistake was made. If you have a food sensitivity/allergy, keep this in mind and make sure you check with each serving/meal.If you do a group booking, make sure to let them know you want separate servings as they were bringing us one plate for each course for our group, until we asked them to bring us separate ones. Considering the food tasting is an expensive experience and they charge per person, this was the first time I was brought a single plate/serving for a group booking.“
“We had a magical time celebrating our adult son's birthday. The service was at the next level, the food was delicious, and the space and ambiance were so comfortable. The wine list gave us some great options as well. Highly recommend this place.“
“My wife and I came here for date night before we Is to the Keller auditorium. The food was amazing and I would order it 10 times over again. Is our waiter was beyond amazing. I had the blackened cod And my wife had Is Pacific oysters pasta.“
“stopped in for a snack while visiting from Canada and the staff went truly above and beyond to give us advice on cool places to go and things to see while we were in Portland. we followed their advice and had some good adventures, highly appreciated :)“
“In all fairness, the owner is a relative of mine. Still this was our first visit to her wine bar and our first impression was of a very comfortable relaxed atmosphere with quality food and service. Given that she's owned the business going on thirteen years, I would say that Niche definitely deserves a visit if you have never been. It would be a great place to take out of town guests.Because of our unique circumstances, there are many details I find it difficult to speak towards. Therefore I would recommend you reviewing their website and/or calling with your specific questions or concerns.“
“We sat outside and the table was kind of dirty. I asked our server if I can get anything to wipe the table. It seemed she couldn't figure out where the stain was. She lightly wiped the table, but the stain remained. It was a sunny day, so I guess it was hard to see the stain depending on the angle. But there was also a bread crum left behind on the table, so maybe they forgot to wipe it. Who knows. We ordered the fresh orange juice and cafe latte. The orange juice was really good, but 8 dollars for this?? As for the coffee, the milk foam was too thick and not silky at all. I do not recommend. The food we ordered was good, so maybe I'll try again next time.“
“Most amazing staff and ownership, if you've not been the Mason, you should be, I miss it when I can't get there and I'm happy as hell when I can.Lawson took amazing care of us along with the rest of the staff and cannot wait to go back for my next meal.“
“Ate brunch at Mermosa for the first time and it was a blast! First, the space is incredibly bright, cozy and charming, with confortable seating and lots of potted plants that make the atmosphere feel breezy and fresh. Mermosa hosts their Mo Betta' brunch on the weekends, and had a live DJ spinning your favorite R&B and hip hop hits from the '90s and '00s. Service was welcoming and attentive; everyone had a smile on their face and looked like they were having a good time. No Portland pretentiousness here! The food and cocktails were fresh, flavorful, and so beautifully presented my friend and I couldn't help but take pictures before digging in. They make their own fresh hot sauce that was so delicious, I'd happily bathe in it. All in all, Mermosa is a whole, joyous vibe from start to finish. 10/10, highly recommended. I'll be back soon for dinner and wine tasting!“
“We had the pleasure of dining at Bar Alder this last Saturday before our show. The Bartender, I think his name was Matt, was really great and the cucumber cocktail he made was amazing! The inside of this restaurant is so beautiful. I don’t know why we have never been here before. The food was tasty as well. We had the poppers and hummus which were good, but the confit chick leg was amazing! So crispy with a tangy glaze. I could have had 4 of them! We also had the chickpea cakes. That was a delicious vegan dish. Thanks Bar Alder! We will be back.“
“This was a flawless experience all around....food was spectacular, great service, great pace of the meal, great atmosphere. We shared a number of dishes, everything was outstanding. The tartare was one of the best things I've eaten in quite some time. 5 stars, can't wait to eat here again.“
“I just got coffee and macarons. They carry medium roast coffee and it’s strong and good. The macarons were good but not great. The texture was perfect but the fruit flavors were overpowering and the almond flavor didn’t come through.Dietary restrictions: Not many options for gluten free, just macarons.“
“French food is not normally the top on my list of dining choices, but I am really glad that I took a chance on this place. The food was excellent and cute whole in the wall very French atmosphere really rounded it all off. There is limited seating and a bit tight being a small bistro of sorts, but once you get settled in and relaxed, you forget forgive the close quarters by the very French décor and feeling once you start looking around at everything. Service was friendly there, but a bit awkward at no fault to the server since she was still relatively new there and apologized for it immediately. She was sincere and did her best throughout our dining experience. Ordered the open faced sandwich which was a shrimp smorbord and it was just amazing. So beautifully prepared with such care and presentation. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Also got the mussels, which were meaty and perfectly cooked in a light herb broth. This will be a must on my return to visit list when ever in Portland next and do recommend that you give it a try if so inclined. Bon Appétit!“
“Staying at the OHSU Rood Pavillion guest house for 2 weeks of cancer treatment we happened upon Cafe du Berry to find an amazing crab omelet for me and a salmon omelet for Susan. Generous portions. Excellent hash brown potatoes and fruit. Good coffee and friendly warm service. We plan to return for the taste of ❤️ love.“
“If you visit downtown Lake Oswego, this is one of my favorite bakeries. Not to mention that it has a great music, Frank Sinatra is playing currently in the background, but it does remind you of walking into a French café. Although they're open all day, my recommendation is always going in before 1 PM. Before 11AM will always be busy, so expect to wait, it's worth it. The earlier you go at the more fresh everything is that's the way of the bakeries!“
“Outstanding food, service, ambiance, everything. The food was consistently refined but unpretentious, and every bite was balanced and sooo yummy. The service was a level of fine dining that we don't otherwise get in Beaverton, but still totally relaxed. It's a set menu, six courses the night we were there (maybe always?), each one delivered by Don with an explanation and background. Tiny space, make a reservation.“
