“I had THE most delicious birthday dinner I could ever ask for! We ordered the cheese plate for an appetizer and was not disappointed to say the very least. All of the cheese was so fresh and full of flavor! And the bread was some of the best I've had with a dinner since moving out West. It was so fluffy and baked to perfection. I ordered the lasagna for my entree and the portion was big enough for 2! It had the right amount of cheeses, sauce, and meats to ensure you get everything in each bite! For the dessert, I couldn't help but order the crème brûlée and oh my goodness, it was the best thing I've ever tasted! So light and rich in flavor. It was made with the utmost love and care. Thank you to the Blacksmith for such a lovely evening with friends!“

“I was soooo excited to come here. Family of eight for birthday in the lounge ! The atmosphere was delightful and the architecture! The bar music was a little loud and did intrude on conversations. The food arrived quickly after ordering and while it was okay, I compare all restaurant and lounge food to the Blue Duck in Prineville. (They always have THE best and a good quantity so ya feel full ! Excellent product for the price!)“

“They don't clean the room unless you ask. They don't change towels for 5 days, you put them in the hall. Told the desk the coffee maker did not work and they did nothing. Told them the phone handset didn't work and they went hrumph.“

Robbie was raised here, Laurie moved here MANY years ago. This is a family owned business. From Laurie's Dad, to her adult children, they all work together to keep it running smooth. Let's talk about keeping business local... They keep business local by purchasing all of their meats at Erickson's Thriftway in Prineville. ♥️ I enjoyed homemade cheddar broccoli soup - that was the best I’ve ever had! And a turkey bacon Swiss melt on gluten-free artesian bread made in Bend. Momma had chicken strips, and a side salad that was so beautiful. We should’ve taken a picture of it. It had all types of fresh vegetables on it, including sliced mushrooms. 😋 The experience was so good we’ve decided we will schedule our Bend appointments around their schedule so we can dine there again. Open 6 am-2pm, seven days a week.“
