“Great spot and vibe but really disappointing that I had to ask 3 times (in front of multiple staff) over two days just to get a flickering light bulb replaced. It seems staff is a bit too lackadaisical. They also don’t respond to emails through contact form.“

“I order food every Thursday. I always get the same thing.
Chili relleno burrito
Carne asada fries
Cheese enchiladas
And mini tacos.
Everything is always amazing!!
It's our little family sit down time. And I'm always very pleased with the quality and quantity and price.“

“The perfect spot to come eat and drink. Tons of seating; nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
They have a great beer selection and food trucks that line area. All great choices. Sampled food and drinks for a couple hours and were happy with everything.
It’s crowded for good reason: come early!“

“This use to be Roberto’s then Rigoberto’s and now maybe a couple others. I’ve always been confused how they all have different names but then read the wiki once and I guess Roberto’s is the A-team stores and others are the B/C/D teams.
Anyways, I’d give this some A-team Roberto’s vibes even though we have a few extra letters in there. The parking lot gets flooded, but all in all great place will return.“

“I live really close to Tacos El Jefe, and always wanted to try it. Their hours seem difficult to come by though, as whenever I pass by coming home they're closed.
Finally tried it one day, on a week day, during lunch. It was pretty good though my only major gripe is the portion sizes. The carnitas burrito for $9 was on the smaller end. And the fish taco was also pretty small. Taste quality is great, but again, small portions.
Service could be better and they could ask you about salsa preferences. Be prepared to be prompted to tip on their check out screen if paying by card. And also, ask for more salsa since the literal thimble size they included was only enough for the first 2 bites of my burrito.
I doubt I'll go back knowing Super Burrito provides better on all fronts, including larger portions and a robust do it yourself salsa bar.“

“Haven't been here in 10+ years! Delicious food, friendly and quick service! Shoutout to their employee, Katie, who helped me decide on a dish, then brought me some chips and queso for fun! Much love for your intuitiveness! ❤“

“The Camarones Al Cilantro is an absolute must when dining here! The shrimp are cooked perfectly and very tasty. The Alpastor taco is fire...best in town. The Serrano Hot Sauce, it is my new favorite and I would like to buy a bottle for home. It's so flavorful and has just the right kick, it's a nice change from the typical hot sauces at all the other shops in town.“

“This is my happy place in Bend. The food is very tasty and fresh, with lots of flavor. My favorite is the Sopa Lima. It’s food for the soul. They have a full bar, from draft beer to cocktails, and their selection on tequila is one of the best I have seen. The personnel and owners are very friendly, attentive and makes you feel welcome. If you are in town, you should for sure try this place out.“

“I'm disappointed in myself for waiting so long to try this place! The restaurant is very clean and well lit and the staff is super friendly. We tried the fish tacos, shrimp tacos and pork street tacos. All were exceptional! The salsa bar is amazing with tasty salsa, crisp pickled carrots and yummy grilled onions with whole jalepeno! And the best part... the price! It's hard to find any food places open past 9pm or affordable anymore, in Bend. I'm happy to say, " We've found our new spot!"“

“I used to go to this restaurant when it was on the west side. Then I moved away and when I came back it seemed like they were gone and then I looked them up on Google search and guess what it's still the same owner and they still have the same menu from way over 15 or 20 years ago. I met and talked with Jeff the owner today at lunch and he informed us of what has gone on over the last 20 years and it was really wonderful experience because I got to eat a fish taco that was delicious just like I remembered thank you Longboard Louie's for staying alive in Bend Oregon. Oh and thank you for the waitress's name Laurel who suggested the avocado slices that were deep fried oh my goodness.! I would have never even thunk of something like that. Excellent service in a great history lesson and a great memory revived thank you so much Longboard Louie's“

“What happened to this place? Been eating here since 2015 and lately it's gone downhill. It seems the El Sanch team is phoning it in, or they just don't care. These days we do a lot of pickup orders rather than eating at the Westside location. For the past year or so the team has been making a lot of mistakes on our orders. For every 10 take out orders I place, I'd say 8 of them will have a mistake. Last time they gave us the wrong kind of tacos (we ordered barbacoa, they gave use chicken). The time before that they left out all the items for my wife, who has some food sensitivities so she can only eat certain items. The time before that they forgot the chips and there was a hair in my food. Tonight, I checked my order before leaving the window out of necessity. Sure enough, they forgot to add an item. So when the girl came over, she seemed annoyed that I was checking the order. And when I pointed out the item they forgot, she went over to the line in a huff and got the missing item. When she brought it back she gave me a dirty look and didn't say anything as she turned and walked away. Like I was the bad guy... In addition the regularly messing up orders, they just removed some of my favorite items off the menu. The barbacoa tostada was my go-to favorite. No more, now it's tostada nada because it's gone. The specials over the past month or two have been lackluster and haven't really changed. All in all, El Sancho has been a Bend icon. You can still feed a family of four for under $50, which is nearly impossible in this day and age. But I hope the ownership team brings it back to its former glory. And although weed is legal in Oregon, maybe start drug testing. I've never seen a restaurant mess up so many orders with such regularity.“

Packaged chips, decent salsa,
Large menu
California prices
Attentive service
Didn’t care for the shredded “yellow cheese”. Tex-Mex?
Had better beans and beef in Tucson.
Hey it’s Oregon, not bad but decent.

“The food was fantastic!
Server was great, she was friendly and kind. I noticed her smiling even when she wasn't waiting tables. It's always a good sign to see people happy at work.
I loved they had a fun GOOD kids menu to have some things to do and stay off tech for kids.
The only downfall- I felt a little crowded.“

“Arguably the best breakfast burrito of all time! Burrito Sunrise always hits the spot, everything on their menu is 10/10. If you’re feeling bold, get the chorizo breakfast burrito and add bacon. You’ll thank me later!“
