“John hit it out of the park with this one. the cocktails amazing. mocktails for my kids they loved it. my 2 daughters requested going there two nights later. they got the pizza and the sourdough pizza dough was so savory. first night I got the summer salad with roasted peaches and burrata, when we went back a few days later I got the tuna crudo with watermelon gazpacho. THIS NEEDS TO BE ON THE MENU!!!!! If you are there and they have this you have to get it. desserts get 1 of each they are delectable. I was lucky enough my daughter's let me have a bite of their sundae and tiramisu. if you have family dinner at home go for dessert at least. They are incredible. the atmosphere was classy, old fashioned but I felt so welcome.“

“We celebrated a birthday at Five Fusion & Sushi Bar recently, and it was a fantastic experience overall! Our reservations were honored promptly, with only about a five-minute wait when we arrived, which was a pleasant start.

The menu looked incredible, and we were particularly excited to try the Chef's Choice Sashimi big. We're so glad we did; the fish tasted incredibly fresh and had a wonderfully silky texture. Among the other rolls we ordered, the spicy yellowtail truly stood out – I'd never had it before, and I'm thrilled I tried it here.

For drinks, I ordered an Old Fashioned, which was pretty basic and nothing to write home about. However, the Japanese beer I had was absolutely delightful! Parking was a bit of a hassle, but it's peak summer, so that's to be expected.

“This is undoubtedly one of the top-rated spots in Bend and a must-visit. The food feels authentically Thai, with vibrant, well-balanced flavors. The Som Tum Tod (fried papaya salad) is a standout—crispy, tangy, and perfectly sweet and sour, making it a must-try. The glass noodles (Sukiyaki) and Kao Sui were also excellent, full of flavor (We ordered spice level 3, which was just right for us). Service was outstanding, with our server Willis being exceptionally friendly and courteous.“

“They are the best!!! Perfectly creative drinks, we had the cucumber & wine freeze! I had the chicken bowl and my husband had the falafel bowl. Both were better than anything I can make at home. They are doing such an over the top job with all that has come their way this year. They are exceeding all the Covid restrictions. And today, I plan to stop by to have breakfast but there are no parking spots available cause there are some customers who don't know how to park properly. ☹️ So that's my concern. Hopefully share some parking spots with Newport Market (just a suggestion). So my advise to future customers, go to Nancy P's a few minutes before they open to get a good parking spot. ☺️“

“We went early for Happy Hour on a Sunday so restaurant fairly quiet. Dining room has intimate ambiance and lighting with comfortable seating. Food choices for Happy hour were limited - a decent variety of options for apps/salad plus a few pastas but prices reasonable compared to main diner menu. We shared calamari in a tomato sauce and had spaghetti bolognese / tortellini with spinach Alfredo and all the food was good. Shared the special dessert which was pumpkin cheese cake shaped like a pumpkin with crumble and vanilla ice cream. Was a fun choice and tasty - pricey but was large so great for sharing. Service was good - attentive but not overpowering or rushed. Only negative was we were told by our server the apertivo we had (negroni sbagliato) was included in Happy Hour pricing but was not priced as such on the final check . It was made well though and served over one large ice cube rather than smaller ones which is our preferred method. As we would have probably ordered it anyway we didn't bother to mention anything at the time. Overall a fun evening with decent food.“

“The pizza was nothing short of phenomenal. I decided to order some pizza because my daughter wanted it and I am so incredibly happy that I ordered from here. The ingredients taste SUPER fresh and actually gave me energy after eating it instead of weighing me down like the pizza from Pizza Hut usually does. Mind you, I do not like Pizza, but this pizza was DEFINITELY the exception. They have earned them a repeat customer!

Also the fact that they hand deliver straight to you is a major plus in my book!

“Current favorite pizza place in town, and favorite lunch place. The lunch special makes this about the only place I can go and actually feel full after the meal without feeling guilty about how much it cost. Also the service is great and the pizza is good, it's not special or fancy,but they give you lots of options for toppings and it tastes like pizza. Also it comes out fast enough to make it feasible for lunch on workdays.“

GPS brought us to the parking lot outside a paddle board place but you can walk through the factory truck entrance. Lots of Pearl Jam memorabilia displayed-that was cool too.“

“What happened to this place? Been eating here since 2015 and lately it's gone downhill. It seems the El Sanch team is phoning it in, or they just don't care. These days we do a lot of pickup orders rather than eating at the Westside location. For the past year or so the team has been making a lot of mistakes on our orders. For every 10 take out orders I place, I'd say 8 of them will have a mistake. Last time they gave us the wrong kind of tacos (we ordered barbacoa, they gave use chicken). The time before that they left out all the items for my wife, who has some food sensitivities so she can only eat certain items. The time before that they forgot the chips and there was a hair in my food. Tonight, I checked my order before leaving the window out of necessity. Sure enough, they forgot to add an item. So when the girl came over, she seemed annoyed that I was checking the order. And when I pointed out the item they forgot, she went over to the line in a huff and got the missing item. When she brought it back she gave me a dirty look and didn't say anything as she turned and walked away. Like I was the bad guy... In addition the regularly messing up orders, they just removed some of my favorite items off the menu. The barbacoa tostada was my go-to favorite. No more, now it's tostada nada because it's gone. The specials over the past month or two have been lackluster and haven't really changed. All in all, El Sancho has been a Bend icon. You can still feed a family of four for under $50, which is nearly impossible in this day and age. But I hope the ownership team brings it back to its former glory. And although weed is legal in Oregon, maybe start drug testing. I've never seen a restaurant mess up so many orders with such regularity.“
