“Honestly one of the best teriyaki spots I’ve tried. The portions are super generous and the chicken is perfectly cooked—juicy, flavorful, and slightly charred in the best way. The teriyaki sauce is amazing too, not overly sweet and packed with flavor.

The rice and salad were fresh, and everything tasted really well balanced. You can tell they care about the quality of the food.

I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re craving good teriyaki.

“I just tried this place for the first time today and was not disappointed! I was really craving teriyaki and scanned some places nearby. I was really grateful this place popped up because it is now one of my favorite places to eat. The service was excellent. The lovely lady answered all of our questions kindly and the whole place was clean and looked really pretty in the late afternoon sun. Atmosphere is humble, and that's a good thing. Sometimes you need to be at a place like this that is cozy and comfortable on a Thursday afternoon. Oh yeah one thing to note that the service is very slow.

“Listen, this is the best place to eat on the planet. My boyfriend showed me this location a few months ago and mentioned that he actually went to Chang’s when it first opened back in 89’ in downtown Portland and has followed it around since. My exact thoughts were, “where have you been my entire life?” We try to eat here at least once a week (sometimes twice) and I honestly can’t get enough (although I can barely go back for seconds most of the time)! “Thai place that's kind of hole in the wall, and it's pretty good. I like to get pad woon sen, the noodles are very delicious. Pineapple fried rice was my previous go to before that, and what is good is that they will substitute brown rice so that's helpful for dietary restrictions. I'm a regular and so occasionally they have surprised me with some small snacks when I get the receipt like a mandarin or a cookie. I liked that :)

“This is our favorite place. This particular location is extraordinary. I’m not a chain restaurant fan typically , but this location is above and beyond. I’ve stopped at other locations and it’s not comparable. The food is extra flavorful, the staff is deeply kind and accommodating. I highly recommend it. The pho has deep flavor , the potstickers are perfectly crispy, golden brown and stuffed with tasty filling. Even the pickled vegetables are super flavorful and not at all an afterthought. It’s affordable and efficient, the lighting is green and the seating is comfy with plenty of room, booths and nice wooden tables“

“The staff here is wonderful. It has the hometown feel that I grew up with and love about the Portland area that is not as common as it used to be. I go here for lunch breaks and the service is very fast and always friendly. I always get the teriyaki chicken bowl which is fresh and good. If I decide to play video poker they bring me my food and it's always exactly as I order it.“
