“This place is awesome the prude who left a 2 star is ignorant and biased, she complains like a toddler missing their dino nuggets. The ambience of the restaraunt is very warm and welcoming, both the cooks and the counter workers are great and sweet. I love coming here for teriyaki cravings as it's fairly priced and tastes great for the price.“
“Randomly checked out Frog Thai Cuisine. They're in the same building as Ranch Tavern. We dropped in for a late Friday lunch (2:00pm). Only one other table was occupied but a couple groups were grabbing takeout. Service was friendly and attentive but no ask for spice level. 20 lunch specials (Tuesday to Friday, 11:00am to 3:00pm) that ranges from $6.95 to $9.95 USD. Haven't seen prices like that in years. - Drunken noodles ($6.95 USD) - opted for the pork. Wide rice noodles had a nice bite. Flavours were well balanced. - Panang beef curry ($7.95 USD) - decent portion of steamed rice with beef and bell peppers. Curry was tasty but no heat. Can't beat the lunch prices. Simple, homey Thai food at FTC.“
“I've wondered about this place for a while, and I was in the neighborhood tonight so I stopped in for dinner.I ordered the red curry duck special, and it was out before long. The dish was great - and unexpectedly nuanced - and they didn't skimp on the duck. I ordered it spicy, and it had enough chili to get my attention (I'm a bit of a spice hound), but not too much to detract from the juxtaposition of the savory and sweet elements. The restaurant has friendly staff and a low-key atmosphere accentuated with vintage Americana and low lighting.Well worth it for a $20 meal!“
“I keep coming back for the pork belly fried rice and the massaman curry. Really delicious food, great outdoor seating, and they changed their dessert options recently as well. The banana cake was great with the coconut ice cream. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.“
“This is one of only a few places that serve Laksa, which is what I was looking for. It was very good, and very filling. When asked, they told me they serve Laksa because the owner was from Singapore. As others have noted, the staff is very nice.“
“Came back the next day to have their dalgona coffee, everything is delicious!!Brunch and dinner menu slightly different but not by too much. 4.3/5I personally really love the omurice!! I think their sauce are good! Overall delicious, but I would say the portion is slightly on the smaller end of the scale compared to their pricing. But would I come back again?Absolutely? (their staffs are super nice too)The only reason why I wouldn’t give full 5 stars is because it’s good, but not impressive if you know what I mean lolAlso, street parking is SUPER HARD to find downtown, I would suggest come early or weekdays for easier parking“
“Absolutely delicious chicken! Just the right amount of crispy-ness and crunch. Awesome sauces to try and something for everyone's taste. We've tried them all and keep going back to the bulgogi. But the garlic parmasean (one of the new offerings) is a new favorite! It's a bonus that besides the great food that the staff is friendly, the service is fast and the restaurant is clean and tidy. I'd say that the only downside is the size of the establishment. If you have more than 2-3 people, get the food to go. It's too small to eat there. There are some picnic tables outside but unless it's summer, it's not really feasible to utilize them.“
“Stretch the Noodle is located in the Midtown Beer Garden, which is a cute little oasis close in on the west side. I ordered the Chao Mian with tofu extra spicy. It is so yummy and the portion is extremely generous. Can’t wait to revisit and take people here!!! (the drink in the picture is from the bar cart located in the center of the garden)“
“I love this place for an inexpensive good-quality meal. Their service is friendly and fast, their food is really good and exceeds expectation. I usually stop by a couple times a month and get their Hot and Spicy Tofu. Have never written a review before but this place is great and deserves it.“
“Super stoked to have a solid Chinese takeout style spot so close to me. The lunch special was a great price and the portions were perfect. The food was quality. I’m a sucker for crispy beef and was super pleased with my order.Crab puffs was killer as well“
“The guy behind the counter forgot to pack my rice in the to-go bag the other day and ran out into the parking to flag me down to give it to me. I feel like a lot of places today wouldn’t even bother. The service is great and the food is quite good. I’ve never had a bad experience from this restaurant.“
“Went here the other night for the first time in a while, for dinner. I was warmly greeted upon entry and directed to seating. Excellent vibes and nice decor. We ordered the appetizer combo and chicken satay to start. I had the evil jungle noodle medium spicy. It was as delicious as I remember. One of my friends had the tom yum with shrimp and said they were very pleased with it. Good prices for downtown and generous portions. Great service! Definitely recommend this place! Parking can be tricky as it sits on a busy corner of 2 one-way streets, but if you dont mind walking a block or 2, youll be fine.“
“I have been going to sambi sushi since 2014 and let me be the first to tel you that The food is absolutely amazing every time. But what’s even better than the food is the amazing friendly staff that makes you feel at home. Their hospitality is out of this world. Best sushi I’ve ever had and they big tempura shrimp and veggie plate is to die for . Definitely recommend if your in the mood for some real sushi.“
“Nom nom nom. Their seasonal salad is ALWAYS DELICIOUS. Throw some fried chicken or avocado on there? Gold. Steam buns are to die for. Try them all. But my faves are the miso mushroom and the fried chicken. Ramen is great, rice bowls are great. You really can’t go wrong. Atmosphere is fine but I usually get it to go. Cocktails are okay.“
“We have enjoyed Yoko's sushi for almost 20 years. The fish is always fresh, and the combinations are delicious. We love Taka's Tuna, Hamachi nigiri, Thai roll and Samon nigiri. I recommend arriving early, sitting at the sushi bar and watching Yoko work. Try some of the affordable sakes available. We've enjoyed every one we tried.“
“I crave the rice balls from Money Bowl on a regular basis. The food is made with so much care; you can tell the ingredients are high-quality, and the dishes are very flavorful. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great lunch or snack at the farmers' market!“
“Cully Central has become a regular for me. What great food. Everything I've had here has been delicious. I'm pretty hooked on the Khao Piek Sen with pork belly. Everything is so good though, and I love that they have house made snacks and sauces to go! Everyone is so friendly and helpful too. Oh, and a great tap list and cocktails even. Made with love. (I don't love the seating, but it'll do)“
“Definitely a very good place to get teriyaki!Definitely has been some changes over the last few months, I regularly go there and I’ve noticed a little bit of changes in the food. Still good, but not quite as spicy as before. I always get the hot chicken, it is a great spicy chicken teriyaki dish. One of the best that I’ve ever had.“
“The staff was very nice. The I got the Spring roll, Dumplings, Fried rice with chicken pork beef and shrimp and, Sesame beef. I loved all the food it was so delicious. I went a few days ago and I am going again today before I go back to CaliforniaI had all of these food in 8 other spots and this was by FAR the best quality, Taste, BEST Service and, GREAT PRICED!!!.every time i come back here I'm making sure to stop there!!!!The shops where I live for everything I got would of been $20 more“
“Great. Yummy food. Two nice guys working inside the truck/cart. Food did not make me sick/upset stomach. Its a food cart just off hwy 30 in NW Pdx. Its loud from the hwy traffic, and there is no seating, but the food is great and you get what you pay for. Just eat in your vehicle, or take to go (they have lida for containers. Also, really good sauce selection.“
“Follow up to my visits here. When restaurants try to use sticky rice in place of sushi rice. It is not worth revisiting. Not sure what happened but I was disappointed.First time eating here, great choice!! Delicious sushi, and fresh. Prices reasonable too.이 맛있어요. 그들은 한국말을 한다“
“Super cool spot with great food and some of the best house ginger beer I've ever had. Perfect after work spot, especially if you've had a rough day. I enjoyed a pork bahn mi with sweet potato fries while reading the subtitles to Dune on one of their flat screens. Life is good ?“
“My first time in 50 years, and let me say, GREAT!! I went with a group of fine folks who recommended this place. Don't be swayed by the location, it's TOP quality food. We were sat very quickly. The inside ambiance is very quaint. Almost like a family kitchen. Extensive menu choices, including VEGETARIAN options. My food was quite simply delicious! And most importantly, PLENTY of food. Stop by, relax, give them your business and enjoy.“
“I got a medium pad kee mao and loved the variety of vegetables as well as the fact that the wide rice noodles were not overcooked. Their mango sticky rice is one of the best I've ever had! I have not been able to find mangoes this ripe and sweet in a while. And of course, the staff are so hospitable and kind. I'll definitely be back!“
“Whoa, Vi did not come here to play. This is wild to say but it was the best banh mi that I’ve had here, living in Portland for more than 6 years and originally from the Bay Area. Worth the $.Located in a clean and cute Food Hall that really has it all.“
“I can't assess what is authentic Thai and what isn't.But this felt much more authentic than cookie-cutter Thai restaurants. The food was good! Not mind blowing, not my favorite Thai in Portland. Definitely worth trying if you like Thai food, and are used to the standard Thai restaurants with 90% same menus across the nation.Separate from the food- our waiter was fun, interactive, but at times ... too open? with his interactions with us.“
“We took our order to go, but the atmosphere was pleasant while we waited. The service and folks working was just fantastic. Really good kind people. The food was good, don’t get me wrong. It’s just not so good that I’ll go out of my way to get it again.“
“I have eaten ramen from food carts in Shanghai, and the famous Kodawari Ramen in Paris, in New York and Berlin, in Toronto and London and Belmont Kitchen's Dan Dan is one of the best bowls of ramen I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Sweet and salty and spicy, the perfect harmony of sesame, garlic, onion, ginger, turmeric, and shitake all make the most buttery umami broth I've ever had, just the right amount of heat. It's perfect on a damp Portland evening, eaten under the little lot tent, lit by a neon open sign. It's an entire beautiful vibe around this perfectly beautiful dish. The dumplings, and sushi rolls are also delicious, consistently well made, but the next best thing on the menu is the inari. I could not recommend this little unassuming cart enough - the host is also lovely and warm, making every visit feel special as well as nourishing ( and the egg is always perfect. How do they do that??) .“
“Nice atmosphere with good views of the river and fast service despite it being fairly busy. The soup dumplings were good, not the best I've ever had, but so far the best I've had in Portland. Oh, and the cucumber salad is the bomb!“
“Never knew about this Filipino food cart, but I’m so glad that I discovered it!! The spaghetti reminded me of Jollibee’s spaghetti. I also got the ube ice cream. Both were a 10/10! Staff was super friendly as well. Will be coming back to try the other dishes they serve. Salamat!!“
“Went in late on a Sunday afternoon with a party of 5. Friendly and accommodating staff were awesome! The food was top notch, we even stayed for dessert. A great experience, will be going back again!Dietary restrictions: Easy, yummy vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Casual atmosphere with fun optionsWheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access“
“Just finished eating a bowl of bibimbap- then tried to eat some from of my son’s bowl! It was delicious! Large portions, fresh and great flavor. We also had the katsu- this was a winner too, the melted cheese was a great touch. I’ll be back- highly recommended( sorry no photo- we ate it too fast)“
“The beef in the soup has really good flavor. It's pretty much amazing. Which is unfortunate because it outshines the soup itself. The pho here is decent but wasn't very filling especially since this establishment is on the pricier side for a place with the greasiest menus. It leaves you wanting more which is good sort of. I know I would like to eat more of the food served here but I also like feeling satisfied after eating a bowl of pho. The fried rice that I ordered on the other hand was so crazy good, would recommend it for sure. Definitely will be returning just for the fried rice.“
“I've Ordered both in store to-go and online for delivery. All sushi rolls have been fresh, are very well priced for the serving. Everything has been enjoyable, the staff were very friendly. Quick, affordable, delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: The tables are tightly packed, with smaller wooden chairs. My manual chair would only have fit if I had sat into an isleway. Smaller chairs may be fine, but be wary if you go when it's busy.“
“After Watching Netflix show about Portland food cart we wanted to come to Portland to eat. In the Netflix show mama dut was featured as one of the food carts or restaurant. Mama dut served some vegan pork belly. After doing further research mama dut has closed her business due to pandemic. We were sad, but I did some more research and found this wonderful restaurant which serves some good vegan pork belly too..We walked in and ordered the paid, and found a seat to enjoy..Vegan Pork belly - consist of bread, taro, pepper, coconut and fried - it came tossed with some sauce and fried crispy. When I ordered I make sure I told them please make it crispy and add more sauce. The reason is I see mixed reviews about the vegan pork belly can be dry, and not crispy enough, or not enough sauce. The dish was crunchy and flavorful! We asked them to replace the rice and the noodles it come with, we wanted a salad instead. This dish was 14.99.Fried spring rolls - comes with taro, vermecielli, cabbage. It was good and crispy. But the show of food was the vegan pork belly..Overall we sat outside for the nice sunny weather. We had a wonderful experience too. The service was quick and casual. There is a nice parking lot, which was great for no searching around street parking. Hope this review helps. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day ?“
“Located in the heart of Johnson Creek, lies this Thai restaurant that was pretty good! The food was a bit pricey given the portion, but it's a flavorful experience nonetheless. The atmosphere of the place was appropriate and dim. The servers were very patient with us and attentive to our needs.“
“Changs is a monthly staple for me. There's something very cool about selecting raw food buffet style, then watching it get cooked for you. It's always delicious.Vegetarian options: Since you select all the ingredients, you can make it completely vegetarian.“
“By far my favorite track sushi spot in West Linn! Can get busy but they are always cycling the freshest sushi.I called in for an order once and unfortunately there was a mistake. And their response was excellent and they made it up to me with great customer service. Love these guys!“
“Lots to like. Good quality. A separate box for salad from hot chicken and rice is a nice touch. Similarly, the salad is a nice vinaigrette over mixed greens not a creamy mayo dressing over iceberg (which I also love). So that's a nice difference. Small drink w chicken teri6rice and salad for 9.50 is solid.“
