“Located in the heart of Johnson Creek, lies this Thai restaurant that was pretty good! The food was a bit pricey given the portion, but it's a flavorful experience nonetheless. The atmosphere of the place was appropriate and dim. The servers were very patient with us and attentive to our needs.“

“This is one of only a few places that serve Laksa, which is what I was looking for. It was very good, and very filling. When asked, they told me they serve Laksa because the owner was from Singapore. As others have noted, the staff is very nice.“
“Absolutely delicious chicken! Just the right amount of crispy-ness and crunch. Awesome sauces to try and something for everyone's taste. We've tried them all and keep going back to the bulgogi. But the garlic parmasean (one of the new offerings) is a new favorite! It's a bonus that besides the great food that the staff is friendly, the service is fast and the restaurant is clean and tidy. I'd say that the only downside is the size of the establishment. If you have more than 2-3 people, get the food to go. It's too small to eat there. There are some picnic tables outside but unless it's summer, it's not really feasible to utilize them.“

“Nom nom nom. Their seasonal salad is ALWAYS DELICIOUS. Throw some fried chicken or avocado on there? Gold. Steam buns are to die for. Try them all. But my faves are the miso mushroom and the fried chicken. Ramen is great, rice bowls are great. You really can’t go wrong. Atmosphere is fine but I usually get it to go. Cocktails are okay.“
“We have enjoyed Yoko's sushi for almost 20 years. The fish is always fresh, and the combinations are delicious. We love Taka's Tuna, Hamachi nigiri, Thai roll and Samon nigiri. I recommend arriving early, sitting at the sushi bar and watching Yoko work. Try some of the affordable sakes available. We've enjoyed every one we tried.“

“Every time I am in town I make sure to get sushi at Siam Sushi in Troutdale. The Sashimi / Sushi combo is fresh and fabulous. The Fresh Rolls are bountiful and the peanut sauce is to die for. My husband swears by the Pad Thai. Try it, you'll like it!“

“I got a medium pad kee mao and loved the variety of vegetables as well as the fact that the wide rice noodles were not overcooked. Their mango sticky rice is one of the best I've ever had! Similarly, the salad is a nice vinaigrette over mixed greens not a creamy mayo dressing over iceberg (which I also love). So that's a nice difference. “This place is awesome the prude who left a 2 star is ignorant and biased, she complains like a toddler missing their dino nuggets. The ambience of the restaraunt is very warm and welcoming, both the cooks and the counter workers are great and sweet. “I have eaten ramen from food carts in Shanghai, and the famous Kodawari Ramen in Paris, in New York and Berlin, in Toronto and London and Belmont Kitchen's Dan Dan is one of the best bowls of ramen I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Sweet and salty and spicy, the perfect harmony of sesame, garlic, onion, ginger, turmeric, and shitake all make the most buttery umami broth I've ever had, just the right amount of heat. It's perfect on a damp Portland evening, eaten under the little lot tent, lit by a neon open sign. It's an entire beautiful vibe around this perfectly beautiful dish.The dumplings, and sushi rolls are also delicious, consistently well made, but the next best thing on the menu is the inari. I could not recommend this little unassuming cart enough - the host is also lovely and warm, making every visit feel special as well as nourishing ( and the egg is always perfect. “Randomly checked out Frog Thai Cuisine. They're in the same building as Ranch Tavern. We dropped in for a late Friday lunch (2:00pm). Only one other table was occupied but a couple groups were grabbing takeout. Service was friendly and attentive but no ask for spice level. 20 lunch specials (Tuesday to Friday, 11:00am to 3:00pm) that ranges from $6.95 to $9.95 USD. Haven't seen prices like that in years. - Drunken noodles ($6.95 USD) - opted for the pork. Wide rice noodles had a nice bite. Flavours were well balanced. - Panang beef curry ($7.95 USD) - decent portion of steamed rice with beef and bell peppers. Curry was tasty but no heat. Can't beat the lunch prices. Simple, homey Thai food at FTC.“

Quick, affordable, delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: The tables are tightly packed, with smaller wooden chairs. My manual chair would only have fit if I had sat into an isleway. Smaller chairs may be fine, but be wary if you go when it's busy.“
“The beef in the soup has really good flavor. It's pretty much amazing. Which is unfortunate because it outshines the soup itself. The pho here is decent but wasn't very filling especially since this establishment is on the pricier side for a place with the greasiest menus. It leaves you wanting more which is good sort of. I know I would like to eat more of the food served here but I also like feeling satisfied after eating a bowl of pho. The fried rice that I ordered on the other hand was so crazy good, would recommend it for sure. Definitely will be returning just for the fried rice.“
