The event space was perfect for our employees and their families and we had plenty of room for our dessert station and prize wall! “Wow!! Where do I start off with this hidden gem in the neighborhood. Well great location. Easy parking. As soon as my wife and I entered we were both greeted, but hey it's a tavern and so not expected. We sat ourselves right in the middle of the place and menu was already sitting on the table. Within 2 minutes a server came to the table to ask for drinks. My reason for coming was there sign in front about chicken. So when we ordered we ordered the chicken fried steak with biscuit and gravy. Chicken cooked to a perfection. Breast meat. What caught me with this dish was how well seasoned it is. Atmosphere is a bit different and some colored people it may seem a turn off, but let me tell you. I felt welcomed, waitress came by and checked on us and the memorabilia that flooded this place is more than enough to visit again which my wife and I will come again. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the eggs perfect and also seasoned well. TV playing all the sports I needed to see that day. Not to loud. Great place overall. Would definitely come back.“

“The food was good I got the fish and chips (fries) that you can not go wrong with because the fish is phenomenal, along with the fries normally the fries with fish and chips at other places are okay if not just horrible but the fries are equal to the fish. The atmosphere is amazing it's casual like any bar would be but it's not like you need to yell over music, or other loud people. My impression of the place would be it's kind of unique with their art piece on the wall that moves if you want to be in awe of something you have not seen before. The service is superb I feel. But been there a few times and I have not been let down yet.“

The menu also features clam strips prawns and fish Reuben hamburgers and other mouth-watering delights, come in and see Bob, you want leave hyngry or disappointed.“

“I find the drinks and food a bit priceier than most places but the atmosphere is nice. The bartenders are very attentive and I like that they have video lottery. Nice place for a date night. Nothing fancy but a fairly decent menu. We'll be back!“

“The owner Mark Rourke is the BEST! Very friendly and interactive with all the customers. The food and service are the best as well. Also shout out to the bartenders that are very attentive, personable and Johnny on the spot. Oh and I can't forget about the cook who does an amazing job as well. “We don't consider ourselves overly critical , but today's breakfast on a scale of 1 to 10 was a 5. The omelette's were flat,with cold hashbrowns and unedible english muffins. The only reason for the score of 5, is the service was fine.“

“I have to admit, my last review was because I felt bad for leaving a bad review. I left it because I just knew that night would be amazing. After the 3RD time of no halibut, me calling and being told they had it in, but couldn't order it because of Valentines day, to come in Monday and they would have it. They did it again. We ordered and were told they were out! When Brian Grant was manager not one time were we ever told that.“
