“The Highland Stillhouse was an outstanding place for a first date! The building was impressive from the outside and I was blown away when I went inside, everywhere I looked were visual treats to take in. “Had a great dinner here- I was unassuming cuz it was busy for a Friday night. I was so excited they had many things on the menu that I like and happy hour 3-6 and 9-close for a lot of appetizer items. Our server, Madeline was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I ended up having the crispy wings, tater skins and a side dinner salad. Everything was fresh and delicious, I'll definitely be back!“

“For a tavern type place this is 5 star. Small and quirky. Funky bar top, a pool table and a pretty diverse set of slots, this is a good midday stop. Cheeseburger, chicken fried steak, onion rings and tots were all good. Will swing by again when we are in the area.“

“Just moved to the area I live half a mile away thought I’d try the place expected a hole in the wall, but was pleasantly surprised. Walked in and was greeted immediately by a nice smile and the lovely bartender. Her husband is the cook. His name is Bob and I apologize I can’t remember her name. They cooked my fish the way I like it light gold brown. It was lightly breaded and tasty! atmosphere was light and inviting. I will definitely be back weekly.“

“I was Hangry and needed some food. I’d been seeing the Facebook posts for this place for the Broasted Chicken which as a kid I used to love. They also advertised Pan fried Razor Clams on Friday nights which is right up there with my top all time favorites. Having dug and eaten a lot of these Flattened Panko Coated delicacies you learn that if you over cook them they turn into chewy shoe rubber. It was Saturday night and I fully expected to eat chicken. But to my glee they had the Clams on the menu and my decision was made. Long story short. They were perfect. And they were in season Oregon Clams to boot. The flavor was awesome. The texture was perfect. Nice breading. I wasn’t a huge fan of the in house served tartar sauce, it seemed a little too bitter for me. It came with string green beans seasoned with onions and generous bits of bacon. The garlic bread was fresh. There was a huge amount of food for me and I have to try to figure out how to reheat the clams while keeping them soft. It was a very old pub so the ambiance is old pub style. It was clean and orderly. It is broken into two sides. One is the bar. The other for family dining. There are two Handicap parking spaces however actual access into the building is problematic. There are two access points. Both have steps. One is less of a challenge. There is a step between the two sections and to access the bathroom. So folks in wheelchairs may have difficulties. The doorways are old and narrow. There was also a significant change in the ambient temperature to a much colder one as the meal progressed. There was a wall mounted oscillating heat pump unit near the ceiling. Pushing the cold air. The servers were friendly but difficult to catch if I quickly needed something as they were very busy with the bar side. They have a lot of interesting things on the menu and I will likely be back.Wheelchair accessibility: 2 parking spaces. Access to building is challenging.“

I bashed the Verdict food cart for their burger being just average for the money. This is the place I'm comparing it with. Way better.“

“If your in a hurry it's not the best place to go. But the people are friendly and the server was great even though she was very busy. There was decent food with quite a bit of selection being this is a smaller older bar. Would definitely go back because it makes you feel at home.“

“I found this pub by googling darts in West Lynn. They have a nice dart board and a smaller sized shuffleboard, both tucked in the back in their own rooms. There's no charge to play. They have a decent selection of beers on tap and a non-alcoholic CBD option. I didn't notice the food or other drinks, but they had a few bottles of alcohol on display, so they do some cocktails too. We got gyros from the place next door. It's great that they allow you to bring food in! The owners weren't there that night, but Katie was managing the place by herself and she was very attentive and friendly. This is a great place to meet some locals at the bar, play some games, or watch some sports.“

Their tri tip is outstanding and they should make more dishes that include it so I can get it more often. The homemade potato chips a favorite in our house and are very addicting. “Stanley's has been a staple since my childhood. Used to go on family bike rides now to taking my wife on Friday nights. Seriously thank you stanleys for serving our community and have always been a great escape for me after a long week going to your favorite resturant and they serve you better then you ever been served. Nothing better. I'm having surgery Tuesday and last was my one night to go out and just enjoy normal life. We choose stanleys as we often do maybe once a month. Couldn't have been a better choice. They got this new guy jacoby amd his service and attentiveness has taken stanlys even to a different tear. Seriously best experience best service best chicken strips best lemon drop. Best everything.
