“I came here last week, we ordered some spicy tuna sushi (I can’t remember exact names) and a ramen bow for our little one! The ramen bowl was huge for her! She definitely had extra saved over that we brought home. The sushi was delicious and filling and not too pricey for the 3 of us, I think 68 total we spent plus sodas. I will definitely come back to try other sushi rolls they have! The only complaint I really had is it’s extremely quiet inside maybe a tv or music in the background would be nice!“

“There are no grab bars in the women's handicapped stall. Hope the toilet paper dispenser can hold out. Very difficult for someone who needs the help getting up.“

“Their bento boxes look and taste like art you can eat, with a sweet savory taste to match. They’ve paid special attention to kids, making it a great spot for families. The only thing that seemed lacking was a hot water kettle for tea in order to be able to enjoy steaming hot tea throughout the meal. Fantastic sushi restaurant, worth the visit. Thanks!“

“Excellent rolls! There was a 20 minute wait at 6:00 on a Monday, so the staff was a little grumpy, and our table was in a back corner, but the food was excellent. Had the Oregon Roll and spicy salmon, and they were flavorful and a perfect complement to each other. Worth the grumpiness. But seriously, they were slammed on a Monday, so I get it.“

“I have been eating at Shinsei Sushi for several years. We live in Mt Shasta, and every Medford trip means lunch at Shinsei. The sushi is fresh and excellent. Service is very amenable. This is not a restaurant for ambiance, as it is a standard strip mall setting, but everything else is very enjoyable. This restaurant gets a lot of high 5s from many Mt Shasta, Ca. residents who make it a point to eat there.“

“My wife and i are sushi fiends. This is by far the best experience we have ever had. 2nd time back in 4 days and we will come back at least 2 more times in our short visit. Every ingredient and flavors are so purposeful and not overpowered.

“Wow! If I lived in Medford this would be on the top of my list. They serve traditional Japanese and lots of creative sushi rolls and even bibimbap which is not on the menu. I had to control myself to not order multiple items... Especially because someone else was treating us. I really really wish Bonsai was in Utah! Dang.“
