“We had an amazing experience here. The day we went in they were waiting on deliveries. They were out of the Hibachi steak and many Boba flavors my son wanted. His face showed his obvious disappointment, but he settled on a cheeseburger and fries instead… kitchen staff comes out to say they are also out of hamburger, cheese and fries. At this point he’s clearly disappointed, BUT the wait staff and the kitchen staff worked so hard to pull something together. My son had skipped lunch, so at this point we didn’t want to leave because he was hungry. The chef (who I heard say from the kitchen “I just want to make this kid happy”) and his staff went above and beyond to create a suki steak burger, melted parm and zucchini fries and a ‘surprise flavor’ Boba. They could have simply said “too bad kid, order something else.” Instead they went above and beyond to create him a custom meal, so it was a really special dinner. My son was grateful and we were blessed by the experience. Thank you! ☺️ We will be back for his Hibachi Steak! ;)“

“Very good menu. Great coffee. They are very accommodating on special orders. Only complaint is my wife's breakfast was very cold. Cold eggs, cold potatoes, and cold toast. I really wish restaurants would heat up the plates for hot food and chill for cold foods. I love going to a Mexican restaurant because you're last bite of food is still hot as your first. LoL. We will definitely give it another try and hope for the best.“

“Best pizza I've ever had, and I don't say that lightly! Every time we drive by, we have to stop and get 2 small pizzas just so that we can try as many flavor combinations as possible. So far, we've never been disappointed. From the Spicy Sicily to the Butter Chicken Pizza, they're all amazing! 5 stars all the way! Plus the beers, wines, and other foods are equally satisfying, and the atmosphere is cozy and cute!“

“Oh my god... the poutine!!! My first time.. and yes, a die and go to heaven moment. Fries smothered in gravy with cheese curds! We just ate at Falling Sky Brewing I had the most luscious cubano! With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“

“Drop Bear has become our neighborhood comfort hangout! Their indoor area is so cosy, but with ample seating so we never have to worry about finding a spot to eat. They have a nice outdoor area as well with heaters. They have great food and drinks and nice staff. They have an extensive vegan and gluten free menu for those with specific dietary needs, but also tasty food options for meat eaters and the like. You also have the option of ordering from the Thai food cart outside if you are in the mood for Thai food (which I often am). They have bingo and trivia nights and GIANT projector screens for events too if you want a movie night for a private party. If you haven't been there yet, I recommend you check it out. If you went when they first opened, but haven't been back recently, give it another go!“

“One of the best coffee spots in Eugene but go early (they open early enough that you can grab a cup at 7:00 am on the way to work). Like most places here, later in the day even the lattes turn from smooth velvety to sour/bitter.
They have daily fresh baked vegan goodies, fluffier and softer than most but if you're used to traditional/regular biscuits rolls etc than it will likely not satisfy. Good to know: anytime a fruit is mentioned in baked goods description they mean jam.
They have board games/bathroom/local bulletin board, and while the wooden table/benches are uncomfortable they are clean and spacious.“

“We attended the 50 YEAR REUNION FOR SOUTH EUGENE HIGH SCHOOL.My husband Andy Young was in the class of 1975!! Its a nice place. Roomy and spacious for all the folks that were there!!! Staff was friendly, Bartenders made delicious strong drinks and it was the perfect place for the 1st night of a 3 day reunion!! Everybody was happy to see each other and we had a great time...Oh if you only knew the stories some of these people told about the golf club and the houses around there!! Lots of amazing memories and a beautiful view. PERFECT PLACE FOR A GATHERING!!“

This restaurant is managed very well, the dining area was clean and so were the restrooms. The high quality food was brought out to our table promptly and tasted fresh and delicious. The prices are less than what you would expect for the kind of quality they serve. Not super cheap but reasonable. Honestly this place has become my favorite burger joint - try the bacon and bleu or the crispy chicken sandwich. My wife loves the wings and my kids love the crayons. “We got lucky and had ColdFire beer and Paper Plate BBQ for lunch in Eugene. I got a flight of beers to try: one hazy IPA, black IPA, red ale, and Japanese brewery collaboration lager. All the beers had excellent flavor balances and distinct profiles: the hazy IPA was dank and tropical, dark IPA was roasty with the IPA end notes bite. The red ale had a sweet, brown sugar-chocolate malt and strong hops flavor, and the Japanese lager was crisp, clean, and lightly fruity.

In other words, you can go here for a good IPA. If you like any other beers, you're getting good flavor profiles and not just weak versons of IPAs (unlike a LOT of other breweries). Highly recommended for a good beer with some great BBQ from Paper Plate food truck.“
