“We were passing through Eugene from WA to CA. What a nice and delicious surprise for us, when we found The Coco Nut vegan restaurant. Food and drinks were stunning. They let us in with our dog because outside was very hot. Everyone got sweet and free ice cream samples including or golden doodle 🥰. Great personal and menu. If you are around, you should definitely try them out !“

“This business is located in the historic Tiffany Building and was originally named The McMorran and Washburne Department Store Building. It was built in 1902 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. This is a beautiful historic building and a must see. Check out this business too.“

Today I came for the free SNAP meal, as I work long hours for low pay in the music industry as a single dad supporting my daughter, and the loss is significant. “MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNN......This burger was amazing. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. And I don't even really like pickles but the man makes his own pickles and they pair amazingly well with the burger. You can taste the love and care he puts into the food and super nice. I live wayyyyy out in the country and it's almost a 30 minute drive for me to get to his place and he was so thoughtful and mentioned that next time to let him know to hold off 20 minutes after I order so my food would be hot and fresh when I got there and that in itself would of been enough for me to return in the fact that he cared enough to want to make sure my food is fresh, which may I say is a rarity in customer service. If you haven't tried and all the other 100+ reviews weren't enough for you to want to give this man your business then let me add onto the list of people who highly recommend this place. It's so rare these days to find a place who actually gives a flip about what they're serving and he definitely most definitely does. I'll be making the hour round trip again in the near future just to get me a burger. PS.. you can taste the high quality of meat he uses, it's not a slop shop by any means and when I was picking up my food he was slicing potatoes for the fries and man again it's so worth it. “We arrived shortly before closing, and we were still welcomed. The food, the decor, and the atmosphere was superb. Fresh, local ingredients are combined in surprisingly creative and delicious ways. We started with a Last Word Sour, and it was one of best cocktails I have ever had. The burrata, heirloom tomato, and nasturtium tartine was exponentially more flavorful than we imagined, as was every other dish that followed. The dish with panisse was delicious and well-balanced, the tomato sauce on the rigatoni was so bright and fresh, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. We finished our meal with a lemon semi-freddo, and it was combined with a corn-based crumble that was shockingly delicious. Thank you, Lion & Owl for a memorable meal!! 10/10!!“

“I think it has all been said sooo many times but this pla e is wonderful and unique. The seasonal flavors keep everyone guessing and keeps the creators on their imaginative toes so to speak. They encourage you to sample flavors so don't be shy about asking for samples. Maybe don't ask for every single flavor there is, if you see a line forming out and around the building though. Kindness and balance go a long way. This location in Eugene is pretty new and I love that they have fire pans outside for a hanging out in the winter, eating ice cream experience. Good stuff. I asked for a full pizza and owner was incredibly chill and kind in processing my late night dinner. Reasonable cost for size of pizza came to $30, the pizza was huge and without asking he delivered it to me to my car. The taste was absolutely incredible, even my spouse couldn't get over how good it was. Was going to post a photo, but we ate it 1st. It was that good.
