“Was recommended to check this place out while I was in town for work. Went even though I wasn’t really hungry, but was on a BIG back mission. 🤣🤣 Good variety of flavors, and a decent selection of odd combination flavors to try. I decided on a double scoop waffle cone and got the jack o’latern pumpkin bread, with a scoop of pear & blue cheese.“

“We arrived shortly before closing, and we were still welcomed. The food, the decor, and the atmosphere was superb. Fresh, local ingredients are combined in surprisingly creative and delicious ways. We started with a Last Word Sour, and it was one of best cocktails I have ever had. The burrata, heirloom tomato, and nasturtium tartine was exponentially more flavorful than we imagined, as was every other dish that followed. The dish with panisse was delicious and well-balanced, the tomato sauce on the rigatoni was so bright and fresh, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. We finished our meal with a lemon semi-freddo, and it was combined with a corn-based crumble that was shockingly delicious. Thank you, Lion & Owl for a memorable meal!! 10/10!!“

They let us in with our dog because outside was very hot. Everyone got sweet and free ice cream samples including or golden doodle 🥰. Great personal and menu. If you are around, you should definitely try them out !“

“This is the second time I’ve been to Acorn Cafe. It was equally as delicious today. Brought my daughter and we shared the biscuits & gravy and waffles. So much food and extremely delicious. We also ordered the lavender lemon soda and Hawaiian Haze mocktail and they were super tasty and refreshing. Acorn has a lovely ambiance and the service was friendly. They don’t accept tips for themselves but pay it forward instead to folks less fortunate. Well worth supporting! Looking forward to going back and trying everything.“

“Everything was amazing from the friendly and kind lady who served us to the delicious food. We ordered three dishes, and every single one was flavorful and well-prepared. I especially enjoyed the Griddle cooked pork ribs, so tasty and perfectly seasoned. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes, especially the hotpot! 😋“

“Had an excellent lunch today at Cornucopia in Eugene, our first time there. I had the Jero's Smoked Bacon Cheese Burger with Gouda cheese on it. Very delicious, juicy combination of flavors and cooked perfectly. My husband and I split our sides. The fries were wonderful, hot, coated and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. My husband had the American Cheese Burger with Swiss which he said was great too. He ordered the coleslaw and it was just the way we like it... not too sweet, not too tart. The service was also wonderful. We sat outside with our little Dachshund and our server was right on top of it. Would highly recommend them! (The only downside was the price. Expect to pay $20 for a burger, $20-30 for anything more than that. I know, everything's gone up, but it's still a shock.)“

“MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNN......This burger was amazing. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. And I don't even really like pickles but the man makes his own pickles and they pair amazingly well with the burger. You can taste the love and care he puts into the food and super nice. I live wayyyyy out in the country and it's almost a 30 minute drive for me to get to his place and he was so thoughtful and mentioned that next time to let him know to hold off 20 minutes after I order so my food would be hot and fresh when I got there and that in itself would of been enough for me to return in the fact that he cared enough to want to make sure my food is fresh, which may I say is a rarity in customer service. If you haven't tried and all the other 100+ reviews weren't enough for you to want to give this man your business then let me add onto the list of people who highly recommend this place. It's so rare these days to find a place who actually gives a flip about what they're serving and he definitely most definitely does. I'll be making the hour round trip again in the near future just to get me a burger. PS.. you can taste the high quality of meat he uses, it's not a slop shop by any means and when I was picking up my food he was slicing potatoes for the fries and man again it's so worth it. They have a nice outdoor area as well with heaters. They have great food and drinks and nice staff. They have an extensive vegan and gluten free menu for those with specific dietary needs, but also tasty food options for meat eaters and the like. You also have the option of ordering from the Thai food cart outside if you are in the mood for Thai food (which I often am). They have bingo and trivia nights and GIANT projector screens for events too if you want a movie night for a private party. If you haven't been there yet, I recommend you check it out. If you went when they first opened, but haven't been back recently, give it another go!“

“They really do have the best Chili I have ever had in my entire life. The nachos are awesome, delicious and such a large serving that most people will either need to share or get a box. Fun drink specials that invoke the fantasy theme! The family that runs the place is super cool too, very friendly! you can see the heart they put in, ya know? “This is my new favorite restaurant! I have a dairy allergy and almost cried when I realized that I could actually order biscuits and gravy, french toast, and even nachos off of their regular menu. If you have a special dietary need, tell them and the staff is so understanding. They have amazing vegan pastries. The vegan chocolate croissants are to die for! I live two hours away, but will return to Eugene again and again to try everything on their menu.“

With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“
