“The food was fantastic! I had the waffles and they were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The lemon curd and whipped cream were perfect! Other people had the BBQ sandwich, couscous salad and tomato soup and everyone was happy. Only thing is they forgot a salad we ordered. And even though we told them right after we got our food, they didn't seem to expedite it ahead of other orders. We ended up finishing all our food and waiting for 15-20mins after eating. In the end, we had to leave without it bcz it was taking so long. Of course, they removed it from the bill, but it was annoying that it took so long and we ended up getting something from Taco Bell to get that person something to eat. That being said, food was fantastic and so I still say 5 stars. Hopefully that was an exceptional mixup.“

“This is my new favorite restaurant! I have a dairy allergy and almost cried when I realized that I could actually order biscuits and gravy, french toast, and even nachos off of their regular menu. If you have a special dietary need, tell them and the staff is so understanding. They have amazing vegan pastries. The vegan chocolate croissants are to die for! I live two hours away, but will return to Eugene again and again to try everything on their menu.“

Today I came for the free SNAP meal, as I work long hours for low pay in the music industry as a single dad supporting my daughter, and the loss is significant. “Hands down the best burger in town. Cooked exactly how you ask, choice beef, super fresh produce (he makes the pickles himself), good bread. Everything is perfect. Had the potato salad as well, also delicious.

There isn’t outdoor seating but the little bar next door has bangin CBD and THC mocktails and a cozy shaded patio and they will let you bring your burger in and eat it there as long as you order something to drink.“

“This place is awesome. I like to take my family here. The flavors are good and some combinations are wild. I got to try one for the first time yesterday. It was some kind of berry, feta and habanero ice cream that I had made into a shake. I had no idea those flavors worked so well together. It tasted like a berry flavored cream cheese and was so satisfying to the pallet the only place that felt any warmth was the back of the throat and it was very faint. If you are ever in the area you have to try this place. They will let you sample any ice cream and openly invite you to do so. Great place.“

“This is one of my favorite dinner spots! I super love the ginger goji berry tea served in the winter. I also love the beef noodle soup with sauerkraut here. I also love the chili oil dumplings and cucumber salad here. If there's any complaint, it's not much but we often have to wait a long time for our food - most of the dishes are served but there's always a dish ...... that isn't served.“

I love the authentic Italian food. And the building is a very cool older house with a great feel to it. I think its very romantic and a nice place to treat yourself/loved ones. Its privately owned by 2 Italian gentleman. Hence the name. Sometimes they will be at the restaurant and are very friendly and fun to talk to. I highly recommend.“

We finally found the gem in the corner of 18th and Chambers. It is called the Angkor Cafe. The food is absolutely amazing. People you got to put this place on your next stop. With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“

This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. I asked for a full pizza and owner was incredibly chill and kind in processing my late night dinner. Reasonable cost for size of pizza came to $30, the pizza was huge and without asking he delivered it to me to my car. The taste was absolutely incredible, even my spouse couldn't get over how good it was. Was going to post a photo, but we ate it 1st. It was that good.
