“EDIT WARNING: We have been back several times and I would recommend bringing your own water, the water here tastes like it has chemicals in it. Very odd and gross taste.

Food was delicious, just had the fondue and the cheesecake but we approved of both!

Went back and had the ribeye and filet mignon and calamari. Calamari was ok, the steaks were expensive but good not great. Vegetables were almost raw, and hard to eat. Peach lemonade was delicious.

Buffalo wings are a must try! I don't typically like buffalo wings and these are amazing! When they are using the bigger sizes, the smaller ones are not very good. Potato skins didnt have enough toppings.“

“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! “I learned about this place from a friend who gifted my husband an amazing Tiramisu. I was pleasantly surprised to taste a Tiramisu that actually tasted authentic. Curious, I decided to visit, and I discovered that they make a variety of desserts, including cannoli, which are filled just before you buy them ( finally some place that can do that!)I also tried the cornetto (This should not be confused with a croissant) and the focaccia, and wow! Finally, a focaccia that doesn’t have a lingering taste of acidity. The coffee was good too as the atmosphere and the service. I totally advise this Italian place especially becouse, in my opinion,they can make very Italian taste.“

When the new owner's took it over this year, we were concerned about whether the comfortable, flavorful, "homestyle" experience we were used to would remain. The new team has done great! The staff is super friendly and working hard to make people feel welcome, learning names of regulars, and carrying on a place with a great reputation. The food is still excellent with super generous, well prepared portions and very reasonable prices. Well done!“

It's Portland, so YMMV, but if you can manage a sunny day and sit on the patio by the river while eating the juiciest, crispy-skinnest, most flavorful brick chicken you'll ever have, you won't regret it. “Its the best breakfast this side of 205, probably the whole state. Good diner food and people who care. One of these times I'll order lunch but I haven't gotten bored of breakfast yet. There's one plate size (large, oval) and they fill it unless you get pancakes which comes on a large, not big enough plate.

“Peyton an Bella were the best waiter and waitress. We came in on a busy Sunday. Got seated in less than 10 minutes surprisingly. My chicken fried steak arrived early but my GFs burger didn't. After 10 minutes we checked in, and Peyton was on top of it. He checked with the kitchen and made sure we happy. We eventually got the burger to go, but the service was just stellar. “What Thai restaurant doesn't have ginger? I also asked for an additional tea bag for my pot of tea and she refused unless I wanted to pay extra. FOR A TEA BAG! So I had weak tea and no ginger in my meal. They have fresh ginger next door at Fred Meyer ... I should have went and bought some while waiting for my order. Food was pretty but just okay. Then was charged $4 for the 2 little tiny cups of hot tea I drank.“

“The menu options were great and we enjoyed our food. The greeter and our waitress were especially friendly and helpful. However, the young lady who showed us to our table looked out of place. Everyone other employee was dressed in attire you would see at Oktoberfest as you would expect in a German restaurant. She was in a very casual oversized sloppy looking sweatshirt or sweater. And although I use a walker, she led my husband quickly to our table, chatted with him while waiting for me to catch up. Then she walked away without even waiting for me to actually get to the table or speaking to me at all - VERY RUDE!! Our waitress, server, greeter and the food more than made up for the bad taste she left in my mouth, thank goodness.“

Expect long waits during peak times. Our first attempt had a 1h+ wait on a weekend dinner, and we only got to try it on our second attempt when we came on a weekday afternoon. This isn’t a place with fancy decor or service, but it is a fun experience with genuinely good food.“

“First time here today. It smells so good just walking in the door. I'm not sure of the spelling but Devon is so friendly and warm. He was very patient with my never ending questions If you haven't had their homemade bread, you should. I ordered a meat lovers and its as good as any pizza I can remember. It took me back to my favorite pizza as a child. The menu is pretty broad, everything we had I enjoyed. The service had me smiling. This is a phenomenal place!“
