Hope herself is an absolute gem, a local who has contributed to and lived in this community for a very long time. “I have been visiting Jackpot Bistro since it was Grampys and watched it turn from a deli to an amazing bistro. All the food is good and made to order and if you like fry sauce their's is the best! If you like to gamble there are about 6 different slot machines with plenty of room to gamble with a date, friend or family. Good luck!

“We have been eating at Flying Pie for 30+ years and have never once been disappointed. Other than you can no longer get whole wheat crust. That was the best crust! The toppings are plentiful and if you've never been here before, then just know that you will most likely be taking some home with you. Which is still amazing cold, but can easily be reheated on an air fryer and it tastes just like it did when you first got it. Great staff and always clean. Cheers!“

“We ordered 2 pho orders togo. Prices are good, portions are good, pho broth is good, place is clean and friendly staff. The only thing that I really wish that was better was the brisket, it was thin, dry and tough also the tendon was a little tough compared to Pho Hung and Pho Oregon, it usually melts in your mouth. I would of gave it a 5 stars if the meat was tender. If the chef could work on not overcooking the meat then this would be my go to spot.“

“I learned about this place from a friend who gifted my husband an amazing Tiramisu. I was pleasantly surprised to taste a Tiramisu that actually tasted authentic. Curious, I decided to visit, and I discovered that they make a variety of desserts, including cannoli, which are filled just before you buy them ( finally some place that can do that!)I also tried the cornetto (This should not be confused with a croissant) and the focaccia, and wow! Finally, a focaccia that doesn’t have a lingering taste of acidity. The coffee was good too as the atmosphere and the service. I totally advise this Italian place especially becouse, in my opinion,they can make very Italian taste.“

“I love Cup of Tea. I have been coming to this location for a few years now. Black Wolf is my favorite tea PU-ERH tea. This is my morning coffee. This place offers so much, events, games, education but most importantly atmosphere. It's just a fun place to chill. I really love the new packaging, website, and tea wall. It's clear and easy to follow. There are many new teas I never noticed before that I now have on my list to try. This location is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it!“

“Di Tazza bakery, cafe and coffee drive thru is a great place to sit and enjoy a coffee with friends. They have pastries and yummy frittatas, biscuits and gravy and breakfast sandwiches. They have vegetarian choices and some nice gluten free pastries that are all made on the premises. It’s really cute and clean. The staff is friendly and quick to make you feel welcome. I live really close to it and I highly recommend it. It is in the previous chase bank on SE 84th and 137th. Easy access from Padden Parkway. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. 🥰“

“The menu options were great and we enjoyed our food. The greeter and our waitress were especially friendly and helpful. However, the young lady who showed us to our table looked out of place. Everyone other employee was dressed in attire you would see at Oktoberfest as you would expect in a German restaurant. She was in a very casual oversized sloppy looking sweatshirt or sweater. And although I use a walker, she led my husband quickly to our table, chatted with him while waiting for me to catch up. Then she walked away without even waiting for me to actually get to the table or speaking to me at all - VERY RUDE!! Our waitress, server, greeter and the food more than made up for the bad taste she left in my mouth, thank goodness.“

“This is really an unappreciated gem in Vancouver. Seafood is always fresh and properly prepared. Chicken Caesar salad is enough for two meals. Service is surprisingly fast, and waitstaff are courteous and friendly. They have some interesting cocktails -- my favorite is the gin drink with passion fruit. Their Happy Hour menu is fantastic! Delicious coconut shrimp for about $9. So many other choices, and I have tried more than half of them. All have been good enough to order again. The only place that I know that even has Happy Hour on the weekends.“

“We ordered pizza and wings from Champs for our Christmas Eve meal.We had 3 kinds of pizza. All were very good.Also had wings. They were also very good but one downer was that they didn't come with any dipping sauce. We were told they don't provide sauce with their wings. That's unusual and took us by surprise. However, now that we know this, next time we'll buy some from the store ahead of time.Overall we were pleased with the food and the service.We recommend them and will go back again.“
