“This is an absolute gem. Family run with the loveliest, friendly, engaging people. The food is unbelievable. I cannot imagine there is a better Mediterranean restaurant in Portland-which is saying a lot here. Oh and 100% have the cheesecake! Legitimately the best cheesecake on the planet-order the Royal.

“White Pepper was fantastic!! They were so wonderful and helpful in rescheduling our wedding twice for covid. They were always available to help with questions throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, the service staff was incredible. And the FOOD! Hands down the best wedding food my husband and I have ever had. All of the guests said the same. Somehow they were able to mix a farm to table fresh menu with such decadence still. I would recommend them a million times!“

“We hired the Portland Catering Company for our wedding and had the most wonderful experience! Katie was communicative, clear, and incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions. They handled EVERYTHING, quirky requests like adding an edible wax seal to each slice of cake, to things I didn't even think to ask. They went above and beyond, the staff was incredibly friendly and hustled all night long clearing things, refilling waters, and packing up food. Not to mention the food was delicious! I would hire them again and again, highly recommend if looking for professional and friendly catering service to handle your next big event.“
“5 stars for the private in-home chef (Allie) who turned a short-notice birthday bash into a culinary masterpiece! When I called in a panic, thinking we'd be stuck with Red Lobster, Olive Garden or the other usual suspects, this chef swooped in like a gourmet fairy godmother. She was accommodating, gracious, and thoughtful, crafting a meal that made my guests think I had planned this shindig for months. I’m pretty sure she sprinkled a little magic into every dish. “The food for our wedding was amazing, as expected. However, what really stood out was the Chef and staff's absolute enthusiasm for the theme, and their passionate expression of their talents through the meals. Our wedding was Medieval-Fantasy/Lord of The Rings themed, and the chefs went out of their way to research real authentic medieval cuisine with an inspired twist, which really made the event truly magical. I would also like to thank Tracy for her amazing customer service and eagerness to bring the magic to life.“

Their guy Chad was an all-star, he made sure all the food was continuously stocked and setup beautifully. Thanks to their staff and James Fowler for running a tight ship.“

“Ordered a bean rice and cheese burrito. It was mostly rice but the rice was DELICIOUS! The burrito was hot af when it came out but somehow when I finally made it down to the cheese it wasn’t melted. That’s the only reason I’m not giving this burrito a 5 star.“

“Elephants Catering was in charge of catering at the wedding my venue hosted on 9/4/16. From the first interaction with them you could tell customer service and getting things perfect for their client was a priority. I emailed back and forth several times with Holly and she was great to communicate with! On the day of the wedding, Elephants crew showed up early, was super professional, and did such a great job. The staff was super friendly and willing to jump in and help with whatever was necessary to make the day perfect for the bride and groom. They also did an amazing job cleaning our kitchen and leaving things how they were when they arrived. I would highly recommend them to anyone searching for caterers!“

“What a great find! This is my new neighborhood bar. Small and super cute with local artists displayed on the walls. Signature cocktails were in inventive and fresh. I tried the porch swing which was a slightly spicy, aromatic version of an old fashioned. Top quality brandied cherry garnish made it superb. The cherry on top of my whole experience was the friendly bartender "Crimson". What an amazing find for this bar! I can't wait to come back.“

I can't rave enough about the pleasant, worry-free experience I had with Erica from Ben & Jerry's Catering at the Yamhill shop in Portland. Of the 3 Ben & Jerry's shops I contacted in Portland, she was far and away the most responsive and helpful! In a year of researching, shopping, planning and choosing vendors for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding, my experience with Erica was one of the best! I checked all the ice cream caterer's in the area. Most of them were quite expensive and had limits, restrictions, and extra charges once you got down to an estimate. Erica was one of the most easy-going, honest, cooperative vendors I had the pleasure of working with. She was so responsive and agreeable to all my questions and requests! When I was concerned about not having a choice for our handful of gluten-intolerant guests, she offered to bring some berry sorbets. As always, Ben & Jerry's ice cream is excellent and they offer so many unique and delicious options! To top it all off, Erica informed me that when you hire Ben & Jerry's Catering, you're also supporting New Avenues for Youth which provides job training to youth experiencing housing instability. While some of the B&J's corporate liberal causes don't appeal to me, anything supporting and taking care of vulnerable little ones and youth has my utmost support! We felt honored that in celebrating my daughter & son-in-law's special day, we were also able to contribute to an important cause. Thank you Erica for being such a joy to work with!!“

“Too Sweet Cakes is such a wonderful bakery in the neighborhood. The team members are super friendly, and the atmosphere is really relaxed. Their cupcakes are so delicious. We ordered Maple Croissant Doughnut, Ham & Swiss Croissant, Salted Caramel Bar, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake, and a Vanilla Lattie. Retuned again to get another Ham & Swiss Croissant, and tried the Double Chocolate Cupcake, Red Velvet Cupcake, and Peppermint Cookies & Cream Cupcake. They are so good.
