“What a beautiful space! The ambience is on point, and they handled our large group easily!

Our food was exceptional. The crab macaroni and cheese was superb! The fish and chips also really good. My group didn’t like the clam chowder, though.

Emma was our server, and she was friendly and efficient. She was also full of grace when I made a huge mistake. I had been sick for five weeks, and my brain wasn’t working right! Everything was resolved quickly and easily. She even offered me a hug (I was so embarrassed and was crying for the stress I had caused her.).

Other than my confusion/mistake, the dinner with my family of 12 was the best of our trip to the coast!!!!

We will DEFINITELY be back to this restaurant and highly recommend to others!!”

“Surprisingly sunny and beautiful evening on picnic tables right by the water. According to their website they ferment the dough 3 days before baking for 3 minutes in a blisteringly hot wood fired oven with stone from Mt Vesuvius? Did i get that right? Anyway I liked the margherita best, it lets the flavors of good ingredients shine. Fun place to stop.”

“Today I tried the Flat Iron steak dish. Tender and tasty grilled slices of steak with potatoes and sweet carrots. The sauce made me drag each slice of steak through it, before it went into my eager mouth. I ate too much and I am NOT sorry. So good!”

“had my bachelorette dinner / drinks here & the owners went above & beyond for us. we were a bit late for our reservation but they still made accommodations for us. They kept their kitchen & bar open for us 2 hours past closing. The food & drinks were so yummy! They even took pictures for us outside🥰 highly recommend, super friendly & kind. The price is super reasonable for the quality and amount of food that we were given. The customer service was also very good-they were kind and accommodating and got our food (group of 10) out very fast. They brought out salsas for us that only added even more satisfaction to our experience. They also have covered and uncovered outdoor seating that is very convenient. 10/10 would highly recommend stopping by! We will be back!”

“GREAT FOOD/ GREAT STAFF. We had a late lunches of barbecued pork and avocado toast - both were delicious! Aside from the food, what really sets Currents apart is the helpful and patient staff. We had a bad experience with a motel and were looking for another place to stay. This entailed staying at the cafe long after we finished our meals. It is unusual to find customer service like this.”

“We love going to the Fish Peddler when we are in town. Their menu has a variety of seafood options with reasonable prices; crab is a little spendy, but worth it if your craving it! Fish tacos and fish and chips are always tasty. I just wish the portions were bigger cause you're always wanting more afterwords!”
