“Our "koffee klatch" group was going to visit a small creamery just outside of Newberg, so we "made a morning of it." We met at the Coffee Cottage for a quick nibble and - obviously - a caffeinated beverage. This was one busy establishment! Both the walk-in and drive-thru portions were doing a land office business. They even sold out of some of their menu items (!). Fortunately, other options were available. The staff kept a very cheerful attitude throughout the hustle and bustle, an outward sign they work well as a team. We will definitely return.“

“A cute coffee shop with lots of options. Me and my friends got a cinnamon roll, berry roll, smoothies, and bagels with cream cheese. All delicious! The smoothies were made with real fruit, not syrups. I got blueberry and it was delicious! Great atmosphere. Comfy couches in the back.“

“I recently ordered a birthday cake from The Hungry Hero Dessert, its look and taste was amazing.
Additionally, I am incredibly impressed with their exceptional customer service. I was stuck in work and unable to pick up the cake during their regular hours. To my surprise and immense relief, the team( forgot to ask the name)went above and beyond by staying open after hours to accommodate my schedule.

“Milestone birthday dinner. Did not disapoint!! We have been coming to JPH for birthday, anniversary and just because since 2007. It is fine dining and high art combined on 10 plates. As wonderful as the food is, the imaginative presentations really raise the bar on what a true fine dining experience should be. When you go, be prepared for a three hour experience with the Omakase menu. Not to mention a mid three figures for two with wine and really great cocktails. But then, life is too short and unpredictable to not treat yourself!!!!“

“La Provence in Beaverton is our favorite location in this excellent chain, and we always enjoy their wonderful food when we are visiting the area. Their bakery has suppled us with many welcomed hostess or celebration gifts (oh, those macarons!) over the years. The staff is excellent as well (hi, Cory, thanks again!). Highly recommended.“

While the customer service can be improved, my kids absolutely love this spot. “For a last minute Monday night dinner, we were not disappointed. We ordered our food for takeout, so can’t comment on table service or atmosphere of restaurant. Our order was ready within 20 minutes of phoning it in and the food was still hot when we got it home. The Beef and Broccoli was delicious, tender beef with a tasty sauce. The House Fried Rice was cooked perfectly. The Lemon Chicken has a perfect citrus-y bite to it. The sign reflects ‘new management’ and it seems like they are crushing it. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from them.“
